People obviously had some drinking to catch up on during the first long weekend after pandemic restrictions were lifted in South Australia.

From the 4th of July Weekend.
The view from Accademia bridge in Venice was probably my favourite. Just wonderful, with the Palazzo Cavalli-Franchetti in the foreground and the magnificent Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute in the distance. Especially nice at dawn with only a handful of other people on it!
As long as you are happy, I am happy. I would love to see you smile!

The magestic Mt. Shasta in the background, pristine reflections at Lake Siskiyou on a calm evening as the light fades for the day.
Everytime I see this picture, it gives me a feeling of calmness like none other!
I guess this one won't end up in a children's book, LOL, so I am sharing it with a wish to all my Canadian friends to enjoy the long Victoria Day weekend; but if you drink, do it responsibly, and don't drive. :-)
TGIF, finally! Today is a chill day for me, I’m so glad I didn’t have to go to work. I’m looking forward to 4th of July celebration, it’s time for barbecue and fireworks! It’s also my grandmother’s 92nd birthday so it’s a double celebration. Quality time with family, great food and lots of sunshine to enjoy on my 3-day weekend sounds like a lot of fun, yay!!
Happy nifty fifty Friday and have a fantastic weekend dear friends! Be safe in whatever you do! :)

Hurrah for a long weekend! We have a day off today at work and while I don't celebrate Easter (or any other religious holidays for that matter), I am planning to thoroughly enjoy this extra day. Starting now: coffee, brie, pears and - yes - flickr...
One of my all time favs from archive. Hope you like it :-)

I noticed how the light was hitting the lovely bouquet that was in my condo recently. It was a gift from Marcus, my son and Ediana, his lady. Set of 4
Thanks for your generous comments, faves and awards. Stay blessed and happy Sunday! Best seen large by clicking on the photo.
It turned out to be a lovely day for
the family day holiday. It was - 8 degrees C with an icy wind chill coming out of the north, but with the sun out, it was simply a gorgeous winter day. Better yet....the fishing was free.
This is one of the very few digital frames I shot over the long weekend. I put three rolls through the Holga and several more through the Horizon. It'll be a couple weeks before I have them processed, but I'm looking forward to the results. It's more film than I've shot in quite a while.
It looks a little grainy when viewed large on the interweb, but I don't have time right now to figure out why I'm having problems with color AND grain when uploading. Flickr, why are you failing me now? I swear I'm going to extend my pro membership. I just haven't gotten around to it...
Fixing the color killed my EXIF. Here it is, for those who care:
