This one and the black and white one are actually 2 different photos. I didn't realize they look exactly the same until I got them online.
We found the Jan Mydlar -cache (GC1GXNV), and people noticed some cachers have made some awesome stamps for themselves!
I added a front porch with benches to the Hunting Lodge! Modifying log buildings is very simple with Lincoln Logs. I just lift at the appropriate level and everything comes off in one piece for modifications. Then it all sets back on nice as well.
This is now my desktop background. I can imagine rubbing my hand along the log - feeling the roughness and grain....
This log has protected the softer mudstone under it from the erosive effects of pelting rain. And as a result it now sits slightly elevated on a small pedestal.

Max, Dan, and me ventured up the escarpment at the top of Tring Park to capture a shot across Tring in the evening sun. On the way down I noticed a fallen tree. The low angle of the sun gave depth and texture to the surface of the log, and the light brought out the warm tones of the wood.
i found him layin on his log it waas so cute i just had to take a pic...he never layed on it this way before..
