Last picture this day before my batteries ran out. I had plenty of time to sit down and take the weight off my feet as Suzy continued the photo shoot. These old cottonwood logs dotted the pasture where Queen and her new foal are located.

The water level receded and lo, there's a log bridge for crossing! It was only under 6-7 feet of water the day before. And there's still at least 5-6 feet of water below.

Unfourtunatly there is still logging in the jungle, although CR is a National Park.

A log had fallen across the stream. The South Slough is very much affected by the tide here. On our return the South Slough was 4" lower and made crossing the log more difficult.

Card I give to people when I travel

The quilt measures about 63" x 72" I use to think it was gigantic! It was tied with floss in the center green square but all the ties have worn away....so the backing is no longer attached.

The binding is totally worn and frayed along the edges. It was much loved and used. I had it on my bed for as long as I can remember and took it to college with me too.

This is one of several log structures located on the campus of Hocking College at Nelsonville Ohio.
