Near Astoria, Oregon.

I bought this family of Blue Ducks in Oxfam, they added colour when I forgot to water the pots, and I found this decaying log, thought I might plant it up for spring.

Off to hike our first hike in Pemberton. This one was called Cerise Creek Summer Trail. Just 10min down the road is the famous Joffrey Lake Hike which has tour buses pulling up and 100s of people swarming along the single track trails. Almost getting as bad as Lake Louise. Meanwhile this one had ZERO people! Just as nice and even has a hut at the top...

This is 25 years of regrowth-husband logged it back then..notice the old stand on the other side..

Unfourtunatly there is still logging in the jungle, although CR is a National Park.

Log Cabin was built in 1935 near the corner of Walker Avenue and Aycock Street. It was moved several miles west on Walker Avenue in 1990.
