loft dress - Sibyl
This avant garde dress was hand made by me using black vintage crepe.
The word sibyl comes (via Latin) from the Greek word σίβυλλα sibylla, meaning prophetess. The earliest oracular seeresses known as the sibyls of antiquity, "who admittedly are known only through legend" prophesied at certain holy sites, under the divine influence of a deity, originally— at Delphi and Pessinos— one of the chthonic deities. Later in antiquity, sibyls wandered from place to place.
Loft dress can be worn as a long dress or tunic paired with leggins and military boots, that's how I see it.
The fabric is a vintage pleated sheer crepe in black. I used it for the whole top layer. The other fabric is a matching satin for the bottom construction and black lace for the embellishments. Dress has two "leaf" appliques, LOFT cotton appliques and comes with a matching belt made of ruffled taffeta and cotton.
Size is free between Small and Medium (EU: 36/38)
One of a kind design

Beautiful loft in the heart of flatiron. This was with a new client and it was great to have such a nice place to shoot.
Combined bracketed shots with Enfuse and then brought into PS to tone down some of the hot spots and lighten up the hallway. Handheld AD-360 bounced off the ceiling as well as CL.
I wanted to have the chair open towards the camera but looking at it now, I'm not sure if I should've just turned the other chair a little bit too.

Patterns for a number of pieces are taken directly off of the loft. Here, you see the pattern for the stem.

The open roof area is accessed through the opening in the loft. That is where we had our roof party to celebrate the mid-autumn festival.
If you can see the lines in this picture, this is the profile and half breadth views of the loft. The profile shows the shape of the boat at the centerline, and at various slices parallel to the centerline (buttock lines). The half breadth shows the shape of the boat looking from above at various waterlines and the sheer.

Loft building I discovered recently on East Lancaster. I'd love to live there, but it's pretty much in the scariest part of town ever. I'd be afraid to step out the front door. I found they even have a website: lancasterlofts.com

I did some graffiti for my buddy Justin Winslow for his loft. Here's a close up of the girl dancer. Very blocky and chunky, but fun.
I dont go to the gym on days like this. People ask why no safety boots? well, you try tip toeing across un-boarded floors with size 12 hob nail boots on.

PRIDE OF THE ROCKIES FLOUR MILL / LONGMONT FARMERS MILL (Flour Mill Lofts)
2100 20th St.
National Register 12/7/1995, 5DV.1940
"The mill is associated with the once important flour milling activities in downtown Denver’s Platte River valley. Although only the mill building and three storage bins survive from the large grain processing complex, the 1920 mill is the last surviving structure of its type representing this aspect of Denver’s early twentieth-century milling industry." --Description from the Colorado Historical Society Website.
