My first efforts at paining clouds. I did this while dispatching trains for the two visitors who were there at the time. I'm sure I could have done better if I'd taken more time!
Some bookshelf-on-the-cheap material left by the previous tenant, but does a good job giving you an idea of the size of the loft. When the ohana was only a one-bedroom, the loft could serve as a second, or at least a guest room/play area
Standing at the top of the stairs looking to the East side of the room. Still need a sink and countertop for the cabinets.
The 42 loft is the "foamcore" one--basically a stressed skin panel (similar to SIPS--structural insulated panel system). Plywood is adhered to both sides of the foam, creating a thin, light, but strong platform.
