The loft was formerly a service area, housing laundry rooms and storage areas. You can see some of the sixty catenary arches supporting the roof.

My task manager for this Demo/Renovation.
I've had this kitchen for about four years, waiting for the perfect diorama for its overhaul. :)
I have always admired loft style apartments, so I decided to build one. To build the brick wall was a fun task. I barely had enough dark red stuff for that, had to use even jumper plates and slopes to get it done.
The painting is a printed picture of my great idol, Michael Jackson. I think you guess what I listened while bulding this. ;)
The setting sun casts its light through the walls of an aging barn onto the remaining hay in the loft.
Playscale miniature loft scene, inspired by Paper Doll Miniatures tutorials. Bed and nightstands created by me.
The word covet seems to become more familiar to me as I download these shots.
My colleague Neil owns a loft in a building that was built in 1880 and served most of its life as a factory/warehouse.
He graciously allowed me to practice interior photography. I will be posting more later.
