I'm not sure what type of hawk this is; it doesn't seem to match anything in my identification tools. But, I do know this - if you stay past sunset on a weekday at the Yolo basin Wildlife Refuge, you will get locked in. I left a note on the car that I would be back for it in the morning and bummed a ride home. When I returned in the morning, I was pleasantly surprised to not have the ticket I was expecting.
It's amazing what you see on a short walk and with a Flickr mind like mine the title was a no-brainer. I left the key where I found it.

The lock building on a Thames island - like a structure displaced from a late-Victorian railway station.
The Lock Warehouse, Gloucester Docks, seen from Castle Meads. 29th March 2009.
It was constructed in 1834 for the corn merchants J&C Sturge.
In 1979 the warehouse was converted into Gloucester Antiques Centre in which capacity it served until 2009. It has now been converted into residential apartments.
