I love old wooden door and lock.
It´s a good feeling to stroke my hand over the structur, let the wings of history follow my thoughts.

I was so much impressed the mill's ruins had a locked door.

I have been Locked out. I couldn't Log in no matter how hard I tried. I did all I was asked but nothing allowed me in. Finally back. I will try to get caught up but may take some time. Happy Day (for real!! I have missed you all. kinda went through Flickr withdrawal)

"Doors to home"
There are the ancient gate in down town houses. They were used to the decoration throughout the home, the owner is showing his status with beautiful doors. Time work, people no longer take care it seems that nobody cares for there homes .
The lock gate leading to the Ellesmere Port canal basin. (returning to posting after a month's absence through illness). Hasselblad X2D.
Goring Lock is a lock and weir situated on the River Thames in England at the Goring Gap in the Chiltern Hills. The lock is located on the Oxfordshire bank at Goring-On-Thames, with Streatley, Berkshire on the opposite side of the river. It is just upstream of Goring and Streatley Bridge. The lock was first built in 1787 by the Thames Navigation Commissioners
The weir runs back to an island under the bridge and then another weir goes from there to the Streatley bank.

One of nature’s most spectacular sights it's rutting season again
We dragged ourselves out of bed hoping to see some action and we weren't disappointed
These two had rounded up their respective harems and it was a head on confrontation
The drama and noise as they locked antlers meant we had more than enough photographs to look at over a hot cup of coffee when we got home
Sometimes it is good to go down different roads. New things are waiting to be seen. Thus this fence and gate.
I hope everyone is fine.

I have seen this view quite a few times. A fence, maybe the railings on a bridge, full of padlocks symbolizing eternal love. I find it a bit silly but, from a photographic perspective, I am kinda glad people do that as it offers a great photo opportunity. I found these padlocks on a fence at the Portsmouth marina. The 2 towers behind are from the draw bridge over river Piscataqua. I plan on posting a picture of that bridge being all the way up to let a big ship pass under it. Happy Fence Friday y'all!
