So lucky to walk past this ever changing view when walking the dog on lockdown.

From mid-March for over four months in 2020, we were in lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Our only escape was along the country lanes behind our house. Fortunately it was a good spring and there was plenty of flora and fauna about.

Covid-19 exercise walk.

Springtime flowers.

A snap taken on our family 'state permitted' walk of the day. Taken in and around Wetherby, West Yorkshire, UK in late March/early April 2020.

As ever send me a message for prints or usage.

We made brownies and the kids took them around to the neighbours during our five-day 'snap' lockdown.

Photos taken during lockdown so mostly from my garden and home in Watford.

A lockdown walk around Edgbaston Reservoir, and the first time back here in about 4 months.

This time a full walk around going in an anti-clockwise direction. But saw a sign on the way out about a one way system during social distancing measures. Although maybe it doesn't matter now which way you go around.

This canal feeder from Gillott Road had flowing water.

During lockdown I decided to dig out my camera and take it out with me on some of my daily walks. Lost a lot of motivation over the last few months but finally getting it back, slowly but surely. Lockdown has definitely helped me just get out and shot anything and everything.

This picture is almost straight out of camera, except for a couple of edits: A small amount of extra sharpness and a soft vignette. I start to shoot with Cinelook picture profile from VisionColor: vision-color.com/products/picture-styles-canon-eos/

During lockdown, I set about making some portraits of my neighbours here on the canal. I made a print for everyone. Some were longlisted for Rankin’s 2020 on Sky Arts, but I don’t think they made the final cut.
