These recent photos of Canterbury were taken during the Coronavirus lockdown, while I was on shopping trips or taking daily exercise.
The state of this building shows the respect that Canterbury's historic buildings often receive! Graffiti tagging (or should I say "street art", haha) has increased significantly in Canterbury over the last few years - and anything is a target, including medieval walls, historic buildings such as this, people's private homes and tourist information signs. Despite Canterbury City Council's efforts, they seem to be fighting a constant battle with the chavs who do this.
In recent times this was a kebab shop, until a massive fire severely damaged most of the interior. It is due to be reopening after a few years as a pizza shop, but that has obviously been put on hold. Hopefully it will open to give this building a use, and to avoid it being vandalised.

During lockdown I decided to dig out my camera and take it out with me on some of my daily walks. Lost a lot of motivation over the last few months but finally getting it back, slowly but surely. Lockdown has definitely helped me just get out and shot anything and everything.

During the Covid Lockdown I spent most of my lunch breaks in the Park near to work. As it had been raining this Seagull was patting the grass, I assume to bring worms to the surface to eat.
As part of the Huddersfield Literary Festival & to commemorate 12 months since the first lockdown a sculpture was commissioned to be displayed outside the Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield. Designed by Angie Boycott-Garnet 7 built by Animaltronics is on display for 2 weeks.
During lockdown, I set about making some portraits of my neighbours here on the canal. I made a print for everyone. Some were longlisted for Rankin’s 2020 on Sky Arts, but I don’t think they made the final cut.
