During lockdown I decided to dig out my camera and take it out with me on some of my daily walks. Lost a lot of motivation over the last few months but finally getting it back, slowly but surely. Lockdown has definitely helped me just get out and shot anything and everything.

Marple Locks are currently closed due to water shortage caused by the collapse of Toddbrook dam at Whaley Bridge last year. 😦
During lockdown, I set about making some portraits of my neighbours here on the canal. I made a print for everyone. Some were longlisted for Rankin’s 2020 on Sky Arts, but I don’t think they made the final cut.
What can I say - dropping toy bricks in a glass of water. In my defence - it was a warm sunny afternoon and no social distancing rules were broken

It’s been a long time since we were free of lockdown, last year from March-June, and again the month of November, then again from 20 December, and we are still in lockdown and it’s the 1st of March, sometimes it’s so surreal that it just doesn’t seem real, but hey ho, here is to not being in lockdown soon..
