Walks around the village....
I did say I wasn't going to photograph this tree until we have another lockdown. Well, sorry to be fickle, but I needed to see it with its leaves on.
I notice there’s a little Horse Chestnut growing right next to it - at least some things on this planet can live together in harmony!

Die Zukunft der Innenstädte wird so aussehen. Discounter wie Aldi, Lidl und auch Netto werden frei gewordene Flächen besetzen und die Innenstädte verschandeln. Alteingesessene Gaststätten werden verschwinden und durch die Burger Fast Food Restaurants ersetzt werden.
Durch den gestern beschlossenen weiteren Shutdown wird sich die Lage nicht verbessern... eher verschlechtern

I'm hopefully going to post one a day for the next 30 days and all goes well I'll select another 30 after that

I posted this image at the start of the lockdown. Today I was so fortunate to have found this couple again ... I won’t name them but I was so pleased fate brought us together again!
They’ve been married 53 years and are still very much in love! I was also pleased to send them a copy which they loved!

Todays artwork and poem for another gloomy lockdown 2 day.
I find that hands are useful
For lots of different things
Like buttering toast for breakfast
And putting litter into bins
To button up my clothes would be
Quite awkward without hands
I couldn’t buckle up my belt
(I’d use elastic bands)
I never pick my nose of course
But hands would help me to
And I think that I’d need slip on boots
Or maybe slip on shoes
Yes, t’would be quite awkward
If hands were just ‘no shows’
I’d have to cook my dinner
On my back and use my toes.

May, 2020: Our dog Kaaley basking in a sun on the rooftop. He enjoys a lockdown as we all remain at home and he gets all the attention. This is a simple photo taken from my cellphone. The colour pattern of the wall and the sky caught my eye :)
Just up the road from our house we have been watching this dead oak fall to bits over the last few years. How much longer does it have?
Every couple of days this Little Sparrowhawk would come to our birdbath, and take a vigorous dip.. Splashing water everywhere...

The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera.
I really believe there are things nobody would see if I didn’t photograph them.
Just trying to illustrate that there may be several different and interesting compositions all in the same location.
The local council is putting the oval lights on every weeknight during lockdown so folk can get out and do a little exercise (social distancing of course). So the kid and I did a little wander up.
