Well as we continue our lockdown with some easing of some restrictions, it was nice to take a longer stroll into the city of Edinburgh and snap some shots of the city during these times.
Lothian Buses continue to operate a critical timetable on selected routes however services are slowly picking up numbers as more people start to return to work.

With all the gyms closed during the COVID19 lockdown, what better way for a couple to exercise but on the street, by the River Lagan in Belfast.
With a zoom lens into the sun, this image is a bit grainy, but you can still pick out the handsome, unflashy church up the road from us. It was surrounded by majestic cedars until a couple of years ago, and this view would have looked very different. They became unsafe and had to be chopped down. Taken from the other side of the valley on Berkhamsted Hill, above the castle.

Good morning. Here is Sunday's Lockdown 2 cartoon for your enjoyment. As always, thanks to Andrea for the artwork.
I am a Good Samaritan
‘Cos these here two aren’t mine
I walk them for a neighbour
And so far they’ve been fine
The small one tends to tangle
Somewhat round my feet
And she always wants to say “Hello”
To everyone we meet
I never let them off the lead
Until it’s safe to do
Then they’ll run around the woods,
Find streams to run right through
They like to chase the squirrels
That scamper up the trees
I’m glad they’ve never caught one yet
(Do squirrels pass on fleas?)
I walk them for an hour or so
Then they begin to flag
And as we head back home again
Their tails they start to wag
My neighbour’s pleased to see them
As we head up her front path
I’m sorry but I rather think
They’re gonna need a bath.
during the lockdown , minimal activity along the main roads of metro manila that would normally be busy with vehicles, as media would refer to as "signs of the times"
Well it was my turn for a lockdown birthday, no wild parties, no clubbing and no going out for a lovely meal… all have been from birthdays past, this year was to get myself comfy, and large glass of Gin and some good telly. What more could I ask for :)
There is one thing the photograph must contain, the humanity of the moment.
We are making photographs to understand what our lives mean to us.
The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do.
The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera.
I really believe there are things nobody would see if I didn’t photograph them.
Lockdown 30 Day Photo Challenge
