'LOCKDOWN WALKS' - MAY 2020 - NIKON D3300 & TAMRON 18-200 VC

In a very eerie and deserted Belfast this afternoon.

Taken with Sony ILCE-7M3 and Leitz/Leica Summilux-M 1.4/50mm at F=1.4.

We just went into a stay-at-home emergency order here in Ontario...for 28 days. Stay-at-home, lockdown, shutdown...it's all the same to me. Fortunately I'm retired.

Took a quick selfie/mugshot the other day, wrinkles and all. It’s only the 2nd I've ever taken. Nothing artistic, just yours truly for a laugh. I normally have a dislike for being in front of a camera.....at least knowingly!

One great thing with wearing a mask, I don't need to shave often....and I can stick my tongue out at anyone secretly.

My fave lockdown sunrise I've taken so far. From my house, actually from my bedroom!

De niet-gebruikte fietsenrekken bij het winkelcentrum in Hoofddorp geven de rust tijdens de lockdown goed weer.

Empty bicycle stands, Hoofddorp, the Netherlands.

Lockdown shots but at least now there's more freedom.

Las leyes se hicieron para los hombres y no los hombres para las leyes.

A lovely surprise visitor in the garden this morning... a Red Legged Partridge :) We've recently put down some grass seed... i think it has taken a liking to it!!

Larger than the grey partridge, it has a large white chin and throat patch, bordered with black. It has a greyish body with bold black flank stripes and a chestnut-sided tail. It is an introduced species, brought to the UK from continental Europe, where it is largely found in France and Spain.

What they eat:

Seeds and roots.

Lockdown 2, Petrol station, Field End Road, Ruislip.

Another full Lockdown in the UK. These four walls are closing in. Big Pharma ??? Why are some nurses not using gloves to give injections? Why did my old mate go into Hospital with septicemia and die of covid? What a total mess the UK is in. They will force us to take the vaccination one way or another and then a yearly booster to max their profits. Wake up, just follow the money.

This is what it's come to in the UK. Pharmaceutical-driven agenda that will enslave the Human Race AND THEY WILL USE YOUR MOBILE PHONE TO TAKE AWAY YOUR FREEDOM

I have set myself a lockdown challenge too only take photos in my garden or from my garden. It is going to be interesting to see what effect this has on my photographic skills. With no travelling involved I will be able to take advantage of the change in the light conditions, and hopefully this will help me improve my eye for a composition.

Stay safe Stay Home.

Kilcock, Kildare, Ireland.

Taken in Glencoe just before the imposed lockdown was enforced in late March 2020. I was lucky enough to travel through the Highlands to my home in Hampshire on the morning of the 28th March. To see Glencoe in all it's magnificence without another living soul or vehicle was truly spectacular.

One of the regulars in my Leicestershire garden, and like the rest of us enjoying a nutty New Year.
