It was 12:30 pm when we met Nahim , our local guide, at the village of Wadi Ram (???? ???), a valley cut into the sandstone and granite rock in southwest Jordan. The wadi has been inhabited by many human cultures since prehistoric times including the Nabateans - leaving their mark in all kind of forms, nowdays the valley is populated by Bedouin tribes. Wadi Rum may be best known for its connection with British officer T. E. Lawrence, who based his operations here during the Arab Revolt of 1917–18. by fall Nahim set the Jeep in the direction of the camp whose located on a small hill observing a large territory of the Wadi. Our local guide showed us some very cool birds and we introduced him to the world of bryophytes

With a local guide, we hiked up a hill through a jungle in Khao Sok National Park to view the Rafflesia Flower.

Supposedly, it is one of the largest flowers in the world and only blooms for 5-6 days each year.
