A Catedral Metropolitana de Niterói ou Catedral de Niterói, Catedral São João Batista, ou simplesmente Catedral de São João, é um templo católico em estilo colonial tardio, na cidade de Niterói, Estado do Rio de Janeiro. Situa-se no Jardim São João, área histórica do Centro da cidade.

Possui duas torres campanários e rica em decoração religiosa.

Em 1660 foi fundada a Capela Curada de Carri, Carahy ou Icarahy, levantada em honra de São João Batista “no morro próximo ao Campo da Fazenda do Mosteiro de S. Bento, cujo lugar denominado da Pedra de Carri” (Mons. Pizarro, vol. 3, pág. 155). Ficava, segundo vários indícios, no atual Morro de Santa Tereza. Transferiu-se depois para a Ermida de Nossa Senhora das Necessidades para o local da atual, Igreja de N. S. do Rosário. Mais tarde esta capela foi ampliada de uma capela-mór, para aí se colocar a imagem de São João Batista, que deu origem à atual Paróquia de São João Batista, em Niterói

No ano de 1742 foi fundada a Irmandade de São João Batista, atual Irmandade do Santíssimo Sacramento da Freguesia de São João Batista de Niterói.

Con actividades culturales, sala de proyecciones, vhs's, Dvd's, Blu Ray's. Y recordemos, que esto es un pueblo de 51.600 habitantes. Yo lo dejo ahí, ... pero vamos que de donde yo vengo, ya podemos esperar por estos servicios y su calidad.

The stone gateposts of the now demolished property of East View in Forde. An information board implies that the lines of stones in the gardens mark the outline of the homestead, in which case it was a very funny shape and had trees in it. Another source claims the rocks were garden edgings in the property, taken from the Crinigan's Hut site in Amaroo. Taken in 2017.

This is a place I visit often. This summer I've been here almost every night. Just a half hour or so; to listen to the silence and watch the sunset. I've got some good memories from here wich makes this place even more beautiful for me.
