A BNSF vehicle train rolling east Montana Rail Link, curves toward 365-foot Cabinet Tunnel in Cabinet Gorge east of Colby, Idaho, on the morning of October 2, 2021.
St. Georg gilt als eine der schönsten Hallenkirchen in Süddeutschland und wirkt trotz langer Bauzeit (1448 - 99) sehr einheitlich, was zumeist am Übergang der Bauleitung vom Vater Eseler auf seinen Sohn mit gleichem Namen lag.
Eine neogotische Purifizierung 1856 musste das Bauwerk über sich ergehen lassen, was jedoch hauptsächlich die Ausstattung betraf. Die schöne Sandsteinkanzel, gefertigt von 1480 - 90 ist von einem Schalldeckel von 1870 überdeckt.
Etwas im Hintergrund - links vom neogotischen Hochaltar
steht das spätgotische Sakramentshaus aus dem Jahre 1480, es ist in Franken für seine Schönheit berühmt.

Montana Rail Link’s MLAUMIS (Laurel to Missoula manifest freight, commonly called the LM) edges the calm Missouri River in Lombard Canyon at Lombard, Montana, on September 22, 2009. Powering today’s freight is a pair of EMD SD70ACes and an older SD40-2XR.
Five Montana Rail Link EMD six-axle locomotives, used as a helper set on Bozeman Pass, head downgrade back to Livingston glinting the setting sun on October 10, 2005. Westbound trains get plenty of help by this set, with MRL No. 390 leading a SD45-2 and a trio of SD45s for a total of 100 cylinders producing 10,800 horsepower.

I had this wee idea in my head for a while now when Asha was still here and for some reason it popped into my head today so decided to give it a try. I just decided to use a clip art of a cat and then to turn the picture to a oil painting or a graphite picture in my photo suite to make it all blend in but I thought the original was just as effective as changing it to a painting. I thought this picture worked in well of Asha as she does have this worried look about her and with her holding the bunch of flowers it looks like she is offering a peace offering to her family when they come home for whatever it was that she did wrong...lol

With a GP35 and SD40-2XR on the point, Montana Rail Link's Logan Local rounds the bend at the Missouri Headwaters State Park and approaches Trident, Montana with cars for the GCC cement plant. The Missouri Headwaters is located at the confluence of the Jefferson, Madison and Gallatin Rivers and marks the start of the Missouri River, which at 2,341 miles is the longest river in the United States.

MRL EMD GP9 No. 109 was built in February 1955 for Northern Pacific, and on the day of this photograph, the venerable Geep is still earning its keep 65 years later.
Eastbound on Montana Rail Link’s Fourth Subdivision is a BNSF stack train hustling past the cantilever searchlight signals at the west end of Tuscor siding on a snowy February 3, 2019.
Under a unsettled big Montana sky, a westbound BNSF unit oil train trundles up Winston Hill on Montana Rail Link’s Second Subdivision main line on the afternoon of July 7, 2022.
