The Cross Bay Link is a 1.8 km bridge that connects the Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate and LOHAS Park areas with the Tseung Kwan O – Lam Tin Tunnel. The bridge consists of a road (a dual two-lane carriageway), pedestrian walkways and bicycle lanes. This will help to solve the great demands on traffic in the region.
Tseung Kwan O – Lam Tin Tunnel and Cross Bay Link will be opened on 11 December 2022 at 08:00am.

This one is for Macro Mondays' assignment "inheritance". It is a very small part of a link bracelet I inherited from my beloved grandmother. Unfortunately she died in 1980 of cancer. The bracelet contains several different stones. I am not sure, but I think this is amber.

Before there was a bridge or tunnel the only way to cross the Detroit River was by ferry. People, cars and trains needed to board a ferry boat to cross to Windsor or Detroit. This loading dock was used to put train freight cars onto the ferries bound for Detroit. Today this remnant can be seen on Windsor’s riverfront.
