Clearly not a British plane. Found no such company on the internet.
I can't even describe how wonderful these fabrics are. Their weight and hand is just beautiful...I'm on a linen kick and these just make me happy.
Linen fiber is taken from the stem of flax plants. It is especially soft.
I learned about linen and flax from Dara at Homestead Heritage, Waco.

When I saw this calla lily there was something about it that reminded me of crisp linens. Like the kind that have been hung on a clothes line outdoors to dry. There is a freshness to this particular lily that I wanted to capture. I hope I succeeded. :-)

When I saw the pattern for this sweater in "Rowan", I knew I HAD to knit it for myself. Its shape is very beautiful, and the wooden beads that are knitted into it in the yoke add some extra pizzazz!
The Apiarium is a sculpted bag with an intriguingly wasp-nesty shape. It's made from machine-felted (fulled) wool and has a fairly sturdy shape. It's super dark charcoal, almost black. The lining and strap are heavy weight black linen.

This saturday, I passed by the bluest linen crop field I've ever seen. This plant has for a short time blue little flower, and it's amazing to drive by. Doudeville - France.
