and yes: there are pigeons on the glass roof

Sicht vom zweiten Stockwerk des Südflügels - dort befindet sich eine Fensternische, wo ich zum Fotografieren dieser berühmten und beeindruckenden Sicht anstehen musste ... und das auf dem Dach sind tatsächlich Tauben ... (sehr viele davon!!)
Not perfect but as close as I could get without the use of a mirror. The line runs top to bottom through the centre of the image. It’s a small noughts & crosses game played with black & white sheep.
A Macro Mondays submission on the topic "Redux 2018", i.e. a new photograh using a theme from 2018. Here I have chosen "Line symmetry", and this is an orchid, beautifully displaying bilateral symmetry.

This anchor is made out of solid chunk of brass with the needle file. It’s a gift from friend of mine. He used to be a ship mechanic. Traveled all over the world since he was 16 until retired at 60

This Nymphula nitidulata or China moth is a 1 inch wide moth species, shot Friday night during our annual National Moth Watching Night. The moths are lured with a special lamp on a white sheet. Normally, they navigate on the moon but the light confuses them so they sit on the sheet. Other species only sit on some alcoholic stuff we put on trees.
I am a moth watcher (and counter) for 7 years now and they never stop amazing me for their beauty we rarely see.
