Ever since I was a little girl, tulips have been my favorite flower (followed closely by sunflowers). There is something elegant and fragile about tulips that is appealing to me in their simple beauty. Our local grocery store has been carrying tulips for a couple of months and they are almost out of season now. I had never seen a tulip with this pattern before and thought it would be perfect for the line symmetry macro theme this week. One day, I would love to visit the tulip fields in Holland when they are in full bloom... what a sight that would be!
A photowalk near work proved to be a good idea because there were so many lines to follow. 24/52

This was a small weed by the lake. The red leaf look like it had just freshly unfurled. The colors were truly this verdant as we've had a wet summer.

These are small insects: this one was about an inch long - leg tip to leg tip. I used a telephoto lens and converter and still had to heavily crop it.
Cropped, cropped, and more cropped!!

Chocolate from Brazil again.
I think the brand of this candy fits for the theme, but I am not sure if it should be something as "BOM OMB". (?) Anyway, the decorative lines are correct indeed..

Symmetry is not bad but it's slightly out of focus if you zoom in.

This picture is of a star that shows 10 sufaces that can be proven congruent on their sides and the angles. Each of the 10 surfaces can be considered obtuse triangles combined to make this star. This is my picutre of line symmetry.
