The top of the Mineral Line is known as the Incline. A little over half a mile running straight up the hill at a gradient of 1 in 4. My walk yesterday intersected the Incline about half way up. On impulse, I decided to ascend. Even a quarter of a mile at that gradient is hard work but the view at the top is splendid!
The line goes through the gap in the trees in the centre of the shot.
The Oak Leaf Trail Zip Line connects Estabrook and Brown Deer Park along an abandoned rail line. The section of the trail marked in red on the map above, between Mill Road and Silver Spring Drive, is where WE Energies has applied herbicide and clear-cut brush along their right-of-way. Trail users and residents of Crestwood Subdivision have health and safety concerns about the work, and the debris left behind.

Passing through Norwich on 3rd June 2017 presented the opportunity to grab some shots of the colourful local bus scene close to the railway station.

This rubber tired vehicle will be used to bring material and workers into the Evergreen Line tunnel. As there is no room to turn this vehicle around inside the tunnel it has been built with drivers cabs at both ends of the vehicle so it never drives in reverse.

I used 6 photos to create this image. My daughter Elizabeth is a very shy reserved child and it was kind of amazing that she would play along with this multiple shot. In each pose she pretended to be an exasperated child waiting seemingly forever in line for the waterfountain at John Lester Smith Memorial Park in Jackson, Kentucky.
The blue line is probably the most photogenic MBTA rapid transit line. The new trains (even though I don't like the design, they are new), renovated stations, striking blue color, and there's something extra cool about trains that say "Wonderland" on the destination sign (not this end, sorry...)
The blue line is underrepresented in my photostream though, probably because of the lack of a direct connection to the red line. (I can't say it's because I have no reason to ever to go to the area it serves, because since when has that ever stopped me?)
