My son got a hold of this pitch for a nice line drive to the outfield.
It's slightly front focused but close enough for youth baseball hobbyist photography.
The 200mm F2 is fantastic for youth baseball. Narrow depth of field really helps separate the batters from the fencing in the background.

Parking structure at Vallco Mall, Cupertino. Shot with Fuji X100S.
Part one of a two part series on a local mall that is on its last legs. The series starts off in the various parking lots around the mall. I was really drawn to the play of light. All the lots were pretty much empty so I could take my time and not worry about getting run over.

The quail have been flying up on the roof of the garage and carport to wait while I scatter the seeds!!..I remembered to take my camera this time...LOL...
They have their big feathers on, too...some of them look like basketballs!!
A sad sight in Bangkok, a line up of 7 B744's and 4 B777's parked nose to tail. Whether these Jumbos will ever take to the air again, who knows. the fact that they dont have engine covers on suggests they wont.
Somewhere very close to the Ontario/Yates county line we pick up the southbound chase of Norfolk Southern train H06. NY route 14 is in the foreground while the water of Seneca Lake and a clear blue sky provide the backdrop. It's a 12 car train starting with four boxcars loaded at Seneca Foods, three empty centerbeams, and five hoppers.
The Banking Guild, with explicit permission of the Pan African Liberation Movement, has secured the port city of Monrovia, Capital of Liberia. Liberia, the second largest 'flag of convenience' registrar in the world second only to the district of Panama, was loosely affiliated with various bands of militants, most notably those with ties to the terrorist organization, King International.
With the port secured, the Banking Guild has commenced offloading arms and material for delivery to the PALM militant arm. Pending the delivery, the second part of the agreement will kick in.
Nationalising foreign mining interests, PALM will give Guild corporations priority in selecting and exploiting mineral rights. Furthermore, PALM will concede land for the construction of a guild naval base.
The base, located in an as yet undisclosed location, is hoped to foster a positive long term PALM-Guild relationship. It is also expected that the base will solidify guild presence in the entirety of the south Atlantic; something sure to be a boon to PALM-Guild trade.

senza fiato.
passa tutto. il bello. il brutto. la pioggia. le amicizie. i credo. i vorrei. passano anche quando pensi che non finiranno mai. anche quando sembrano lunghi e interminabili. passano proprio mentre credi che non possano finire..
