South of downtown Nagoya in the port district is a third sector short line freight railway, the Nagoya Rinkai Railway. Opened in 1965, this line serves a number of heavy industries along the port district in Ise Bay. They handle chemical, automotive, oil, and commodities to and from Nippon Steel. Locomotive traction is utilized with a fleet of old ND552 diesel center cabs. Nearly all of the ND552's are still in use since the railway's founding.
Here ND552-8 crosses over the Tsuchiruki River with a short train of steel from the Nagoya Nippon Steel Works. They are headed for Higashicho Yard, where the train will later be transferred to JR Freight.

West Coast Railways 37685, currently on hire to Network Rail Scotland, is seen powering away from Arbroath Station as 0Z99 Perth to Perth via Aberdeen. 37685 had been carrying out line proving runs between Montrose and Aberdeen after the completion of bridge repairs near Carmont.
CP 6025 and 5023 head north on the Albert Lea Sub through Castle Rock with train J37. I made it to Northfield depot in time to see this train but an inconvenient cloud came in to ruin the scene but the chase was on and I pulled off highway 3 and got to this crossing just in time and saw the farm there and figured that would be a nice prop to frame with, not bad for having about 20 seconds to spare.
