I've been searching a long time
For someone exactly like you
I've been traveling all around the world
Waiting for you to come through.
Someone like you makes it
All worth while
Someone like you keeps me satisfied.
Someone exactly like you.
I've been travelin' a hard road
Lookin' for someone exactly like you
I've been carryin' my heavy load
Waiting for the light to come shining through.
Someone like you makes it all worth while
Someone like you keeps me satisfied.
Someone exactly like you.
I've been doin' some soul searching
To find out where you're at
I've been up and down the highway
In all kinds of foreign lands
Someone like you makes it all worth while
Someone like you keeps me satisfied.
Someone exactly like you.
I've been all around the world
Marching to the beat of a different drum.
But just lately I have realized
The best is yet to come.
Someone like you makes it all worth while
Someone like you keeps me satisfied.
Someone exactly like you.
Wie sieht das hier denn aus? Basstölpel auf Helgoland wollen Gehwegplatten !!!
How does this look like? Gannets on Helgoland want sidewalk plates !!!
This intricate plant and its details is almost impossible to see without a lens. This is where Macro Photography is so beguiling, enabling us to see how the individual parts make up the whole.
This image was taken in the meadow of Glynde Churchyard, East Sussex, UK, a haven for plants and wildlife.
If you are like me, you can sit at the top of a mountain and stare at the beyond for hours until the sun sets, wondering.....in a dreamlike state...
Tomorrow is another Macro Monday. I took some fun macro shots today of tools and utensils and this picture did not make it to the final two I will post tomorrow. My daughter was the jury. Although she was very fond of this one as well, we had to make a choice. I hope you like this one too.
One of my gorgeous indoor Hibiscus. We finally have sunshine today! Wishing you all a sun-filled day my friends =)

Once I thought I saw you
in a crowded hazy bar,
Dancing on the light
from star to star.
Far across the moonbeam
I know that's who you are,
I saw your brown eyes
turning once to fire.

For the Macro Monday challenge "Paper" (September 28th 2020)
A small piece of handmade Japanese mitsumata washi paper. Japanese traditional papers are like no others - a sheet of the soft, flexible, strong washi paper is a work of art in its own right! Here I cut a tiny strip and tried to capture a little of its texture.
If you are interested in finding out more about washi, and how it is made, try:

Things I Like About Winter, Part V: Weather Phenomena.
We stopped to photograph this sun pillar on a very cold morning south of Drumheller. This winter phenomenon occurs when the sun is low on the horizon and countless billions of ice crystals are falling through the air. I would have preferred to find a spot that didn't include railroad tracks in the foreground, but we thought that we might miss it if we waited too long.
It was a moment and we seized it.
Photographed near East Coulee, Alberta (Canada). Don't use this image on websites, blogs, or other media without explicit permission ©2017 James R. Page - all rights reserved.
Wow, amazing weekend to listen to classic rock songs and splash colors.
Unfortunately I have to create almost 8 big size paintings within 10th of this month. I don’t know how I will do it but I am trying my best working day and night.
Unfortunate thing is I hurt my leg badly and I was not able to walk. But now im ok. I won’t be able to invite anybody from entertainment industry but I can visit press club. Something is better than nothing.
I was feeling bored and just thought of doing this portrait few days back.
As it is past midnight here, I am busy splashing colors and I thought why not post this image.
Another 7 paintings to go and probably within an hour I will finish the abstract painting. Hopefully I will be posting it after my exhibition. Tomorrow is Sunday. I am planning to call the person who can take me to the person from entertainment industry if he is available. Let me hope for the best.
Happy weekend to all my flickr friends.

You may be the best photographer in the world, but sometimes all it takes for the best shot is being in the right place at the right time!
It doesn’t even matter if you take it with your mobile phone or high-end DSLR.
Have a wonderful Sat/Sun!
Nice to be back, had a virus and was unwell for a few days!

Three Days Grace - I Am Machine
Lyrics
Here's to being human
All the pain and suffering
There's beauty in the bleeding
At least you feel something
I wish I knew what it was like
To care enough to carry on
I wish I knew what it was like
To find a place where I belong, but
I am machine, I never sleep
I keep my eyes wide open
I am machine, a part of me
Wishes I could just feel something
I am machine, I never sleep
Until I fix what's broken
I am machine, a part of me
Wishes I could just feel something
Here's to being human
Taking it for granted
The highs and lows of living
To getting second chances
I wish I knew what it was like
To care about what's right or wrong
I wish someone could help me find
Find a place where I belong, but
I am machine, I never sleep
I keep my eyes wide open
I am machine, a part of me
Wishes I could just feel something
I am machine, I never sleep
Until I fix what's broken
I am machine, a part of me
Wishes I could just feel something
It wasn't supposed to be this way
We were meant to feel the pain
I don't like what I am becoming
Wish I could just feel something
I am machine, I never sleep
I keep my eyes wide open
I am machine, a part of me
Wishes I could just feel something
I am machine, I never sleep
Until I fix what's broken
I am machine, a part of me
Wishes I could just feel something

Like love, like a medal,
I take in,
take in
south, north, violins...
the smell of waves.
I gather up,
endlessly,
painlessly,
I breathe.
- Pablo Neruda
Like the northern lights I completely missed out on the rare appearance of snow down here this week. North Dorset, Wiltshire and even Weston got a dumping but nothing whatsoever on the South Coast.
Still what can beat seeing snow covered mountains? Taken handheld with my 200mm lens which has been repaired (after I slipped on ice and dropped it). I was £500 lighter but I'm getting it back through my home insurance and it's like a new lens. Result!
I bet North Wales is even more beautiful this week but its maybe unlikely I'd be able to get around.
Have a lovely weekend x
