It has been awhile since I've just gone out to shoot for shoots sake. So, Pk* and I decided to head to the Griffith Observatory for a lil' bit of night shooting. Somewhere between the vulgar joking and laughing, I managed to fire off this shot.

Always in a rush,
Not realizing what art is hanging above you,
Sometimes you need to slow down,
Just take a look,
And realize that there are some amazing things around you.
After photographing two properties and a portrait for some friends, i needed to have some fun.....so i took this self portrait on my way home. I set up the tripod in the back seat and used my cable release to snap some pics. I have to laugh calling this "lightspeed" as i think i did 10mph the whole way home. Traffic was a nightmare in the snow.
However....I might have to experiment with a few more of these. Fun stuff..
from a night shoot i did on christmas eve 08,
I have never posted this before and but just found it when looking through old shots, this one I have played with the levels to make it pop more than the SOTC version, the trees were too out of focus for my liking when I originally shot it. However years later on a rainy sunday afternoon listening to early techno I like it.
🎥 Tiffini wasn't yet my wife back then. 🎥 In fact, we weren't even
acquainted at that point but we have a mutual friend - Ciao. Seen here sailing with Tiffini.
Ciao would often take my boat out to 🎥 "Catch a Buzz" 🎥
Usually, I'd find Buzz floating somewhere around the North Sea.
Actually, standard passenger train, reaching speeds of up to 40 km/h...
Near the upper left corner, you can see another, very faint line of light - maybe a meteor from the Perseids? Or maybe a satellite, or an airplane, or even a UFO? You decide ;)

A little experiment I tried out whilst driving round a friends house for the night.
Basically I just jammed my tripod into the back seats of my car and made sure it was pretty stable then set up the camera to fire off the remote! Turned out quite well I was expecting there to be alot more camera shake but it turns out the dashboard etc came out very sharp!
I've wanted to do some long exposure evening shots on this bridge all summer. This was a quick process, but I will reprocess it later and try to remove the distracting bright arc in the middle.
Something a little different on the levels..
Although the clouds were moving fairly quickly there was little movement at ground level, so tried a 5 minute long exposure.
Not brilliantly composed but I liked the movement in the cloud.
Looking out the front of the abandoned Chevron station located on I-40 at Exit 0, near Glenrio, on the Texas / New Mexico border.
Night, 3/4 moon, red-gelled strobe fired in room on the left, turquoise-gelled strobe fired from outside, back towards the front door. 6 minute exposure @ ISO 100.
