Found a perfect hole cut out of the chain link barrier just for taking pictures! Southbound 5 towards Downtown San Diego.
Like some kind of distant, far off alien superstructure, the New River Gorge Bridge outstretches across the night sky as westbound Amtrak passenger train #51, the Cardinal, bolts through Fayette Station, WV, as they attempt to make up for 2 hours of lost time on the night of October 22, 2021.
It all started several years ago.
i got this amazing BBX speedboat called the SPD X3
Back then it was always on the water at my beach homes in Eden and Fruit Islands.
i used to leave Buzz unlocked and open to public to have fun.

Number 266 of my 365 photo challenge - A long exposure, landscape, night image of traffic crossing the Friarton Bridge over the River Tay in Perth, Scotland. No idea why the EXIF data is not showing up for this image. It is on 500px.
Lightspeed toward the holidays: Happy Thanksgiving Eve!
(Pic: me; 3.2 secs of the tunnel of lights at the Space Coast Lightfest in Melbourne, #Florida, captured with @CanonUSAimaging gear.)
This image was born from trying to decide whether the sun pictured in the frame looked better on the left or the right. While deciding and seeing both images side by side I saw what would be if I combined both.

I love how long exposure photos show the progression of an object's movement through space, compressing a long period of time into a brief snapshot. That's kind of what this collection of photos has become for me. It's easy to get caught up in the distractions of daily life, but this challenge forced me to slow down and look for something interesting to share every day. Happy New Year, friends!

Actually, this came out better than I expected! =D
Easy setup, easy shot, just needed to remain still for a few seconds ehehe.. My town hasn´t got may lights, etcs, to do this, so I tried almost every main road here!
Doing this, the cops pulled me over to check the my license and registration, meawhile she checks the camera on the side of my head and FREAKS OUT!! It was kinda funny to explain that I was only someone trying to have fun in the middle of the night eheheheh... It all turned out fine :)
P.S.: Trust me on THIS one!!!
Thank you for all comments and support =D
So I finally "get" the difference between a no-name, crappy tripod and a nice, well-built one.
I've had a lot of fun - and some really decent results - with my old tripod and my "while driving" shots, but tonight, when I tried my new tripod, the differences were immediately obvious.
For one, the tripod (a Gitzo 1325) is way beefier than the old one, and, without the center column, far easier to setup in the car.
The ballhead (a Markins M10) is super easy to adjust, so composing the shot is a breeze.
Finally, being so much beefier, the camera is much more steady than it was before, and therefore, the shots are that much crisper.

"Starman wannabe," or, "Please don't tell my kid I took her space helmet for a ride last night." (working title)
This is 4-seconds of simulated warp speed captured at the Space Coast Lightfest last (Tuesday) night. And, yes, I'm wearing Lauren's space helmet. Truly I didn't buy it for her with this in mind, and not surprisingly, it's too small for me.
Also, I added two elements to my "spaceship." One is fairly obvious, the other one is less so.
(For anyone who doesn't get the Starman reference, enter "SpaceX Starman" into the Google for context.)

"I trade the whip out for a bike, uh
Designer for some Nikes
Switch the stripper for a wife
Black tie for a white tee, uh
I've been moving lightspeed, lightspeed, lightspeed, lightspeed
Lightspeed, lightspeed, lightspeed, lightspeed
Look, I don't wanna try
Keep it cool like iced tea
So if I seem shy
It's 'cause you seem so shiesty
Sellin' what you buy, buy, buy
Just a product of the '90s
If you close your eyes
That's where you'll find me
I'm the devil's advocate
You don't know the half of it..." ' Devil's Advocate' by The Neighborhood

It was shortly after that update that we took Buzz out on my first Grid Cruise with Drivers of Second Life.
That day and with two ladies I've come to adore, Tiffini and Emi aboard the updated Buzz Lightspeed, 🎥 i made my first ever video and posted it here ! 🎥
ol' Buzz Lightspeed lives on! A constant joy. Buzz's continued to get loved on with more updates and customizations above and below deck.

I really like all the creative long exposure opportunities that the attractions at Paradise Pier. Here, the Golden Zephyr files round and round!

Love my new 28-200 lens. My trip to DC was a photographic disaster. i dropped my camera on day one and broke my lens. Couldn't find a decent Pentax lens in the whole city. Bought this one when I got back. Nice actual range of 36-300.
