Cette photo a été prise dans une bibliothèque. J'ai trouvé amusant le jeu de mot entre les deux significations de réflexion (on voit en arrière plan des magazines) ainsi que la symbolique de la lumière.
This photo was taken in a library. I found amusing the pun between the two meanings of reflection (we see in the background of magazines) as well as the symbolism of light.
It just takes one idea to spark the imagination and once you get started, it can be oh so hard to stop. Light painting with the meditation globe has me wanting to do so much more. Perhaps this weekend.....
Phaedra, shot yesterday at the Stavros Niarchos foundation cultural center.
They have installed a couple of light rings (filled with LED lights on one side) so you can take portraits against the background and it works very well. The only thing to complain is that the LEDs are the wrong color temperature so in order to get natural results you have to work separately the portrait and the background. Still better than nothing...

Έχουν εγκαταστήσει μερικά φωτο-στεφάνια (γεμάτα με φωτάκια LED απ' τη μια μεριά) ώστε να μπορείς να τραβήξεις πορτραίτα με φόντο το πάρκο και το αποτέλεσμα είναι πολύ ωραίο. Το μόνο κακό είναι ότι τα φωτάκια έχουν λάθος χρωματική θερμοκρασία σε σχέση με το φόντο με αποτέλεσμα να πρέπει να επεξεργαστείς χωριστά το πορτραίτο και το φόντο αν θες φυσικό αποτέλεσμα. Πάντως είναι καλύτερο απ' το τίποτα...

I don't know if I can still legitimately call this photography because I did so much to it. I basically went crazy with curves...
But it looks really cool large on black:
Picture from this morning. When I drove to my son's school, I knew there will be some nice light in about half of the hour. So I quickly left him and went to the beach. This is what I saw. Used Fujifilm X-E2 and 27mm WR (a pair that is always in my backpack - just in case).
Some beautiful light today on Bird Rock and Cadair Idris. Cadair Idris is approximately 10-12 miles as the crow flies with snow on the top.
This is a grape Hyacinth which I purchased from the garden center. When we went for our 5 day trip to Luxembourg at the beginning of April I left this plant, forgetting to instruct the neighbor to water it. When we came come it was still alive but had grown rather gangly and I liked the way it looked so I captured its image. I shot this in our kitchen as the afternoon light is wonderful here, the hyacinth is slightly shaded and the background flowers are purposely bathed in bright sunlight. In photoshop I gave this a levels adjustment, removed some dust spots, slight boost to saturation, border and signature. That's all.
