I was going to work when I saw that. A farmer was doing a fire and the rays of light in the smoke were beautiful. I arrived late to work but it was worth it.

Around 2 years ago, in the last conversation I had with my late father about my career, I was distressed about some people saying I should be cheap or shouldn't charge for my work because I was a 'newbie'. He told me not to let those disturb my convictions, not to worry, for people would come and keep coming. I feel emotional remembering his reassuring words. It was the last time we had a long conversation before he suddenly passed away. He would be happy to see that people have come, not only where I live but from other cities and states.
It's been a long way, a lot of effort, I'm leading my way. When I feel down I remind myself of his words, the promises I made when he was gone, what I've accomplished so far.
