So it's summer and I'm home from college. I visited NYC today and dropped by the heart of NYU, Washington Square. I came to this familiar crosswalk, saw the signs, and felt like I was reminded of a message that I know all too well:

My time in college in Washington Square only goes "one way," forward through 4 years. I'm currently "stopped" in place for summer vacation, but I was reminded that it's only temporary.

So....ultimate life lesson of the day: Time is short and it pushes you forward. You can't go back so make the most out of your journey :) I know I definitely will during my next 3 years at NYU :)
