One day I spotted glistening mushrooms popping up in-between green clover. I knew it was a moment to capture. Life is so fleeting and we need to support each other and love each blessing. That's what the mushrooms said.

#TeamMissNaiija, today's #DivaPositive quote is :: āOften people attempt to live their lives backwards; they try to have more things, or more money, in order to do more of what they want, so they will be happier. The way it actually works is the reverse. You must first be who you really are, then do what you need to do, in order to have what you want.ā

Polar bear cubs stay with their mothers for 2.5 to 3 years learning valuable survival lessons. Here, in a snowy landscape with willow bushes and stunted trees, the lesson seems to have something to do with the sense of smell. The 2nd cub is barely visible behind mom.

Inadequate preparation often leaves us ill-equipped to handle life's unexpected challenges, much like bringing an umbrella to go underwater. This mismatch between our preparations and the realities we face can stem from a lack of foresight, misunderstanding of the situation, or simply wishful thinking. We may plan based on our comfort zones or past experiences, assuming they will suffice in new circumstances. However, life's unpredictability demands adaptability and the readiness to reassess and adjust our plans. Without the proper tools or mindset, we can find ourselves floundering in the deep, uncharted waters of our journey, learning the hard way that what we thought was essential may be entirely irrelevant.
In moments of quiet stillness, when the worldās clamor fades into the distance, we often find ourselves face-to-face with the depth of our own thoughts. Itās as though the mind becomes a vast landscape, uncharted and waiting to be explored. These rare pauses in life offer us clarityāa chance to peel back the layers of daily distractions and reconnect with something truer, something timeless.
When we allow ourselves this space to reflect, itās not just about finding answers. Sometimes, itās about embracing the questions. What are we striving for? What does it mean to live meaningfully? These ponderings might lead us to unexpected placesāmemories revisited, ambitions reimagined, or truths long buried beneath the surface.
Such reflections strip life down to its contrasts. They remind us that joy is richer because of sorrow, that certainty often coexists with ambiguity, and that the beauty of life lies as much in its complexities as in its simplicities. Without the noise and distractions, these contrasts come into sharper focus, urging us to see not just the shades of gray in between, but the striking light and shadow that shape our experiences.
And perhaps the greatest gift of these moments is perspective. They remind us of how fleeting our worries can be against the backdrop of eternity, how small yet significant our place is within the vast expanse of existence. Itās in these moments that we recognize the value of simply beingāof allowing ourselves to think, to feel, and to be present with our own thoughts.
Life, in its intricate and fleeting nature, invites us to pause now and thenāto linger in the stillness and allow its meaning to unfold.

Thereās something magical about encountering something unfamiliarāa spark of curiosity that draws us in and makes us pause. As children, this kind of wonder is second nature. Every new sight, sound, or discovery feels like an adventure, and we explore without hesitation. But as we grow older, lifeās routines often take over, and that spark can dim. We forget to stop, notice, and question.
Reclaiming that curiosity isnāt just about observing the worldāitās about reconnecting with the joy of exploration. It means letting ourselves linger when something catches our attention, allowing time to investigate and be amazed. These moments remind us that life still holds endless possibilities for wonder if weāre willing to slow down and truly look. Curiosity is a gift we never loseāitās always waiting for us to rediscover it.

Upside Down
Sometimes life feels like walking through a dense fog, where the path ahead is obscured and every step is taken on faith. We know there's a destination waiting for us, but the journey is uncertain and filled with unseen challenges. In these moments, trust in ourselves and the belief that the fog will eventually lift keep us moving forward. It's in this act of faith, in continuing to put one foot in front of the other despite the uncertainty, that we find our strength and resilience, gradually revealing the way forward.

When I look at this image and see the hardness in it, I think of how grateful we have to be to have health, to have people who love us, family, friends, work ... this man sitting alone with no one around and beside of a church ... how ironic right? I wanted this minimalist image to give more meaning if possible to our life, to raise awareness and be grateful for every moment we have here ... on this little blue planet ...

I am a great fan of cars, that day I went to a concentration of classic cars and by surprise these two women appeared with this wonderful "hippie" van, painted so happily that it seemed to me something so beautiful and exceptional, that I thought Wow! Don't worry Jordi, be happy... with them!

Musically speaking, the truth is that the song is nothing to write home about, but I don't know what it has that is capable of transmitting good vibes to those who listen to it. The message is very simple, and is repeated throughout the song. Although perhaps the examples are not the ones that identify us the most, the truth is that good old Bobby is more right than a saint when he says that we should not worry too much, because we will make the problems multiply.
So... my friend, be happy!
With this post I just wanted to make a metaphor of life and my thoughts.
There is no road on its own, true, each one of us is shaping its way, its path, its personal history, full of successes and mistakes, of happy and not so happy moments.
Life is only learned precisely by living, living without fear, walking without stopping, in spite of the stones we find along the way and that sometimes make us stumble and fall, and then get up again, with more desire and strength, without looking back, because the past is gone and the future is yet to come ...
As the great Antonio Machado said: "Walker there is no path, the path is made by walking". Sometimes we will have to decide whether to cross the river or take another shortcut, we will enjoy when the sun shines in all its splendour and sometimes we will have to endure when a downpour falls on us.
But, to tell you that mistakes are also successes, because vulnerability, fear and uncertainty, even if the night comes and we are alone on that road, even if sometimes everything becomes strange and mysterious, even if the shadows confuse us and blur our vision .... all this will make us stronger!
Everything happens and everything remains ... but ...
"At the end of the road of life they will not ask you what you have, but who you are. What will be your answer?"
Happy Sunday to all!
ā...don't bother to learn more than the simplest facts of flight - how to get from shore to food and back again. For most gulls it's not flying that matters but eating."
āWhy is it,ā Jonathan puzzled, āthat the hardest thing in the world is to convince a bird that he is free, and that he can prove it for himself if heād just spend a little time practicing? Why should that be so hard?ā

Don Quixoteās battle with windmills is a tale that speaks to us all. He mistook simple windmills for towering giants, pouring his heart into a fight that wasnāt real, all while missing the true challenges and opportunities around him. In our lives, itās easy to do the sameāfocusing on imagined slights, fears, or distractions, and letting the things that truly matter go unnoticed.
By saving our strength for meaningful battles, we create space for growth, connection, and purpose. The windmills may distract us, but we donāt have to let them define our journey.

Life rarely goes exactly as we map it out. Storms will come, sometimes without warning, tearing through the neat structures we've built. And while we can't stop the chaos or control the timing, we can always choose how we respond.
Do we let frustration hold us back, or do we find strength in adaptability? The storms that disrupt our plans often uncover whatās truly importantāthey teach us to focus on what matters and to let go of what doesnāt. Even in the midst of uncertainty, thereās an opportunity to grow, to learn, and to discover clarity.
Itās not about avoiding the storms; theyāre inevitable. Itās about standing firm in who we are when the winds howl and embracing the beauty in change.
Because while best laid plans may falter, resilience carries us forwardāand sometimes, the unexpected creates something even better than what we imagined. āØ
I always have the photographer's luck. When I want to take flower pictures, it will always be a windy day. It is very windy again this morning. I have to be very patient and wait until the wind dies down a little before I can click the shutter.
You have to be patient and learn to wait on the good moment, the light or the stillness of your subject in photography.
During this time of pandemic, you need to be patient too. The number of infections are gradually getting lower but we need to be stay alert. The head doctor says the restrictions will not be lifted very soon. Expect you to stay home for the summer and we will not have those summer party events yet.
Have a great Sunday!
Stay safe and take care!

Years ago, the apartment building I lived in caught on fire and most of my apartment was destroyed. This is a ruler that melted and I saved it to always remind me of that time.
Life is like farming. You sew the seeds. You water and fertilize. You harvest long after everything is done properly with help of weather. Likewise career, family and relationship. You get the result after long time with patience,
How do you know it is time to harvest?
We have practiced photography for ten years, twenty years or even thirty years. How do we know it is time to harvest i,e, we can get good pictures now?
I passed by the farm on Steveston Highway and saw the harvest behind the fence.

Building sandcastles is not just a playful pastime; it's a metaphor for life's endeavors. As
we meticulously construct towers and moats with grains of sand, we learn patience, creativity, and resilience. Each crumbling tower represents setbacks, but also opportunities to rebuild and improve. The process teaches adaptability, as the tide may wash away hours of work in an instant, mirroring life's unexpected challenges. Yet, the joy found in the act of creation transcends the transient nature of sandcastles, reminding us to cherish moments of beauty and accomplishment amidst the impermanence of life. Just as with sandcastles, life's experiences shape us, and it's in the act of building and rebuilding that we discover our strength and resilience.

Just a quick word. If you are basing your opinion of someone on a mistake from when they were a newbie or even a couple of years ago, you may be missing out on the essense of the person they have become due the lessons they learned from that mistake. Forgiveness isn't for them. It's for you.
In the meantime ...
What is the message of fall to you? The message is laid in the leaves and please read them carefully.
Is it about the change of colour? Or it is about the grace of aging and withering in life?
And we shall not forget the aging in humankind is described as a social problem which causes burden in health care system and hike in taxes. And it is not viewed as a beauty.
Why is it so different between nature and human?
Have a great Sunday!

Fairy tales often paint life as magical, where heroes triumph and dreams come true. But when these stories seep into our expectations, they can sometimes set us up for disappointment. Not every love story is everlasting, not every challenge leads to glory, and life rarely unfolds like the tales we grew up believing.
The idea of "happily ever after" can leave us ill-equipped for the messy realitiesāfailed relationships, unfulfilled ambitions, or struggles that donāt resolve with a neat bow. These fairy tales gone wrong challenge us to reconcile the fantasy of perfection with the beauty of embracing lifeās imperfections.
Yet, even in the wake of disappointment, we can carry the essence of magic with us. Itās in the unexpected kindness of strangers, the resilience we find in ourselves, and the moments of quiet joy that remind us life doesnāt need a castle or a prince to be extraordinary.
Holding onto a sense of wonder allows us to reframe the story, finding beauty in a reality that, while flawed, is uniquely ours. Itās not the story we expected, but itās still one worth telling.

Fairy Tale
Life's Twists and Turns
by Acaysha Dolfin
Sunday, September 28, 2003
Life is full of twists and turns; no one said it was going to be easy, straight and narrow with no bends, bumps or curves in the road.
Life really is one lifelong ātestā of oneās faith; how much you believe, how much you withstand, how far you bend, and where is your breaking point?
Everyoneās breaking point is at a different level and only God really knows where it is, as He is always pushing on it and pushing it higher and higher. The tough times can be very trying, stressful and emotionally draining, but when the experience is over you are wiser and stronger and with more faith than before.
Life really is just a series of short plays, each with a different set of actors or actresses, each with a new and different theme and outcome each and every time.
So stop taking life so seriously and learn to enjoy the ride. Realize you are the star of your own play, so lighten up, laugh more and live it to the fullest.
Life is definitely a play, except there are no rehearsals, as it changes every day. When one gets too lax or comfortable, life delivers a new challenge to unpack.
Unfortunately most challenges donāt come with instruction manuals or guides !!
When one thinks life is so bad with no hope for the future, God will bring in an angel to lift you up and give you new energy and hope.
Sometimes these angels will stay a long time; others will disappear in the middle of the night. Some will back off to give you space to grow and experience new things.
They move far enough away that you miss them more, but are still close enough for you to know they are near.
Absence makes the heart grow fonder and truer, and you learn to appreciate those in your life more.
1. Be careful, don't get too close to the edge.
2. Come closer, you can't see anything from back there.

The middle hammer does metal working...

Go See Sea Of Green Glow As Sago Palms Grow And Be Inspired To Be You - IMRANā¢
There is such an infinite range of beautiful moments, even in the life of an ordinary man like me going about his life quietly, even merely walking past a sago palm, there is no way any one man can even notice, capture, much less share even a fraction of all that.
Imagine that multiplied by the billions of people on this planet alone. Then imagine the billions upon billions of galaxies around us, each with billions and billions of stars with who know how many even more magical moments occurring this very instant.
The sharp but gentle edges of even one "insignificant" plant can teach us a lesson. I see this and it reminds me that even in this vastness of infinite universal variations and a plethora of seemingly identical existences teeming next to each other, each and every one of us can stand apart in our own way.
Every one of us can make it a point to live, ideally as green as we can, an evergreen life, wherever we go, taking every moment to learn and grow, and to shine and glow as examples of our standing apart even among a sea of equals, as this moment in the space-time continuum depicts.
Think about it. What makes you who you are? How do you stand apart from the rest? What are you going to do with the gift of being You?
