A landsape of the longest sea beach in the world...
সেদিন এমনিতেই মনটা খারাপ ছিল। মন খারাপ কাটাতে তাই ভাবলাম, সৈকত থেকে ঘুরে আসা যাক।
তাই, একলাই গিয়েছিলাম। প্যান্ট গুটিয়ে নগ্ন পা ডুবিয়ে দাঁড়িয়ে ছিলাম পানিতে।
একটানা, অনেকক্ষণ।
যে একবার কক্সবাজার গিয়েছে সেই জানে, সমুদ্রের গর্জনে ঢেউয়ের তাড়নায় বাতাসের দুলুনিতে এ সময় শরীর চুইয়ে চুইয়ে না, উপচিয়ে উপচিয়ে পিনিক বের হয়। এজন্য মোস্ট আনরোমান্টিক মানুষের মনেও প্রেম জেগে উঠে। রস-কষহীন মানুষের মাঝে গজিয়ে উঠে কাব্যের ছন্দ। মূর্খও হয়ে ওঠে বিদগ্ধ দার্শনিক। শুধু তাই না, সাগরের বিশালতা, মানুষকে স্পিরিচুয়ালি ভাবুক করে তোলে। হরাইজনে সৈকত-বেলাভূমি আর আকাশের অভিসার আমাদের বুঝায় আমরা কত ক্ষুদ্র, কত নগণ্য। আর স্রষ্টা কত বিশাল! তাঁর সৃষ্টিও কত বৃহৎ হতে পারে!
“তিনি প্রবাহিত করেছেন দুই জলরাশিকে,
তাদের উভয়ের মধ্যে রয়েছে ব্যবধান, যা তারা কখনো অতিক্রম করতে পারে না।

ছবিটা ডেডিকেট করা বাংলাদেশের সেই সব পোশাক শ্রমিকদের প্রতি, যাদের কল্যাণে আমরা এখনো দেশের ঐতিহ্যবাহী পোশাক পরে চলেছি এবং যারা অতীতের ধারাবাহিকতায় বর্তমানেও পোশাক শিল্পের চালক ও বাহক হয়ে অনস্বীকার্য অবদান রেখে চলেছে বাংলাদেশের অর্থনীতিতে।
কিন্তু সেই শিল্পীদের আমরা কী দিতে পেরেছি?
সাম্প্রতিক রানা প্লাজা, তাজরিন, স্মার্ট গার্মেন্টস ফ্যাক্টরির ঘটনাই বলে দেয় তাদের বর্তমান চিত্র।
সেদিন আমার এক ফ্রেন্ডের ব্লগে পড়লাম, ১৯৯০ সাল থেকে এ পর্যন্ত ২৪ বছরে গার্মেন্টস কারখানায় বিভিন্ন দূর্ঘটনায় সর্বমোট নিহতের সংখ্যা ২১২৯!!
এদিকে আজ বাংলাদেশের পোশাক শিল্পের চলমান প্রগতি বিশ্বের দরবারেও হুমকির সম্মুখীন।
অতীতে আমাদের এ শিল্প কম দেয়নি। বর্তমানেও কম দিচ্ছে না।
কিন্তু ভবিষ্যৎ?
কি হবে এ শিল্পের? এ শিল্পের পিছনের মানুষদের?
কিছু কি হবে? নাকি আর্থিক দৈন্যদশা ও নিরাপত্তাহীনতাই থাকবে তাদের ভাগ্যে?
শিল্পকে ভালবাসতে হলে শিল্পীদের অবস্থার উত্তরণ জরুরি।
তবুও আমরা আশায় বুক বাঁধি।
আশা দিতে থাকি তাদেরও।
কেননা, “আশাই জীবন, জীবনের শ্রী”

I see flowers... I see hearts... I see dancing butterflies... I see golden rings... how about you ?
With a little fantasy and a little love, you can see things with another vision...
Walking around searching for a new experience, when I saw some tiny shiny yellow butterflies gently bending with the cool wind, I was surprised that they weren't moving, only gathering over each other, I got closer to see that they were flowers, flowers with wings, so bright and shining, can be noticed from a long distance, the most stunning yellow I've ever seen...
It reminds me of that music of Yanni “Butterfly Dance”... I like to listen to it and imagining a little butterfly playing on its tunes...
And I'm sure there is someone will be special happy with these yellow butterflowers !!! ;)

In the very hot days of summer, those poor little bees always look for water sources, buckets, pipes, pools or spots of water, and work hard in drinking and transfer the water to their hive, all the day... fly in.. fly off.. without stopping...
that pipe was dripping, I stayed watching them for about an hour, I was so close to them and they are so gentle, even that one of them landed on my hand and then flew again when she didn’t find water, LOL !!
when I saw that the pipe began to dry off, I brought a small bowl of water and put it under it, one by one they came to its edge and started to taste it, they like it :)
not a very high quality photo because I didn’t want to disturb them by getting closer :)

Jack frost dusted my azaleas last night!! They looked so pretty this morning! Have a wonderful Tuesday!
The orange flowers are a variety of Kangaroo Paw. Some dried eucalyptus leaves have been blown into the gray grass tufts.
I find the color pencils are a lot like human beings. One can find various colors of pencils at the box set. Our society is more like a pencil box. In society, there live people of various colors and beliefs. Some are good, some are bad. Some are optimistic, some are pessimistic. Some are crooked. Some are not. The world is filled with people with these reciprocities.
Life is more like a box of colored pencils. You know different colored pencils will be there. Just like you know, you’ll come across all kinds of people on the way of living.
আমার কাছে রং পেন্সিলগুলোকে অনেকটা মানুষের মত মনে হয়। একটা বক্সে বহু ধরণের বহু বর্ণের কালার পেন্সিল থাকে। অনেকটা হিউম্যান সোসাইটির মত। এখানে মানুষ আছে নানা বর্ণের, নানা বৈশিষ্ট্যের, নানান মূল্যবোধের বৈপীরিত্যের।
মেডিকেল লাইফ পুরোদমে চলতে থাকলে একটানা লেকচার, টিউটোরিয়াল, আইটেম এক্সাম, ওয়ার্ডে ডিউটির চাপে ক্যামেরা হাতে নেয়ার সময় তেমন হয়ে ওঠে না। ফটোওয়াকে তো বের হওয়া হয়না বললেই চলে। তখন হাত নিশপিশ করে ছবি তোলার জন্য। বেশ কিছুদিন আগে ঠিক এরকম এক দিনে বাসায় বসে থাকতে থাকতে হঠাৎ ড্রয়ারের কোণায় পড়ে থাকা রঙ পেন্সিলের বক্সটা দেখে ছবি তোলার ভূত চাপল মাথায়। তুলে ফেললাম বেশ কিছু।
ছবিগুলো তুলতে ১৮-৫৫মিmm আর ৫০mm প্রাইম ইউজ করেছি।এটা ছারাও আর কিছু ছবি আছে "Color pencils" সেটে। চেক আউট করলে ভালো লাগবে। লিঙ্কঃ

We tend to celebrate light in our pictures. Understanding how light interacts with the camera is paramount to the work we do. The temperature, intensity and source of light can wield different photography effect on the same subject or scene; add ISO, aperture and speed, the camera, the lens type, focal length and filters…the combination is varied ad multi-layered and if you know how to use them all, you will come to appreciate that all lights are useful, even those surrounded by a lot of darkness.
We are guided by three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, our longing to capture in print, that which is beautiful, the constant search for the one picture, and constant barrage of new equipment and style of photography. These passions, like great winds, have blown us across the globe in search of the one and we do understand the one we do look for might be this picture right here for someone else out there.
