something i just laid-out, for an inspiring quotation i read somewhere.
I felt like breaking something yesterday, so I tore up "Life of Pi" -- as you might guess, not my favorite book. I find it to be a much more aesthetic experience in this form. :)

No but seriously, sticking your favorite speaker-havin’ media player inside a glass with the speaker facing down is a good way to get louder audio (and in terms of “better” the iPod/iPhone “Loudness” EQ setting does wonders).

The mixture of a dog, boy and washing machine in a park just seemed like a great artistic shot. Especially the boy throwing leaves to the wind.
This was taken in Alexander Park just off of Bear Flat in the city of Bath, UK.
周璇 was one of the famous actress cum singer in Shanghai during 30s and 40s. She began her entertainment business since teenage. With a 'golden voice', she has won the first runner up in a singing contest and that led her to take part in a movie. Her success in the show business could not bring her happiness, due to the broken marriage, she has been admitted into mental hospitals. Finally, she died at 39 with a sudden illness.
The poster of 周璇 is the focus of this picture. Though there are toooooo many things in the frame, still 周璇 is the most catchy thing with her aura. Actually her facial expression thrills me a lot as if she is 'standing' right in front of the camera.
