Cambierò per me, cambierò per te,
sono rimasta in letargo troppo tempo,
nuove primavere di vita mi attendono,
voglio prenderle a piene mani,
senza voltarmi indietro,
voglio vivere questo amore che
riempie i vuoti della mia anima,
con tutte le mie forze,
il mio cuore sta rinascendo....
E' primavera,
la primavera del cuore....!
Making cut- outs is one of my hobbies.
I have found out how to cut the silhouette of the "Flower of Life".
I want to share one of them with you.

Time is tricky. You have whole months, even years, when nothing changes a speck, when you don’t go anywhere or do anything or think one new thought. And then you can get hit with a day, or an hour, or a half a second when so much happens it’s almost like you got born all over again into some brand-new person you for damn sure never expected to meet.
E.R. Frank, Life Is Funny
"‘Do not be afraid; it is I, the First and the Last; I am the Living One, I was dead and now I am to live for ever and ever, and I hold the keys of death and of the underworld. Now write down all that you see of present happenings and things that are still to come.’"

On October 21, 2006, I asked my friend, Akemi Takeda who lives in New York City to take some photographs at the same approximate time as I would while living in Fujisawa-shi, Japan. The idea was simple. Without having any larger conceptual ideas or specific subject matter, we take a photograph each from own separate view points on the opposite side of the earth. We decided to think about things such as content and meaning as we shoot; we simply jumped into this project.
Since 2006 we have done this "Same Time" project and have put up the images on my blog once a week for four and half years.
Akemi and I have never discussed anything prior to the "Same Time" except when we take the photos. Even though the images are taken in two completely different locations: a big international city such as New York, US and a peaceful suburb of Fujisawa, Japan, the activity of putting 2 photos together with their only common feature "being same time" occasionally show some surprising and unexpected results. It is interesting to find various meanings and mysteries of human emotions that are reflected within each "same time" photo.

Few more 'Still-Lifes' with my Pentax 6x7 Mk 1 and the last roll of 1993 dated Fuji Neopan 400 from my Deceased Great Friend. There were a few 'Black Spots' in the emulsion. I used my Home-Made FX-15 ( Acutol-S Formula) Stock for 9 mins @ 21oC and got some denser negs to work on. I used my SMC -Pentax Macro 135mm f4 lens for these and 2 tungsten lights . These are scans from Darkroom Prints on A5 size Ilford Multigrade IV Glossy with my LPL C7700 Pro Enlarger + 105mm f4.5 E-Rokkor lens , processed in Home-Made D72 print developer 1+2.
It's always amazing to see seedlings, or even full trees, growing from stone. If they can grow and thrive, then I can deal with the things that challenge me.
Love my pinks at the moment. Had this flower for ages, but never made a card with this gorgeous stamp. And off course my favorite saying. Colered with my copic's and spica's.
Connection With Nature, Culture, and Symbolism:
Red is hot. It's a strong color that conjures up a range of seemingly conflicting emotions from passionate love to violence and warfare. Red is Cupid and the Devil.
A stimulant, red is the hottest of the warm colors. Studies show that red can have a physical effect, increasing the rate of respiration and raising blood pressure.
The expression seeing red indicates anger and may stem not only from the stimulus of the color but from the natural flush (redness) of the cheeks, a physical reaction to anger, increased blood pressure, or physical exertion.
It represents power, hence the red power tie for business people and the red carpet for celebrities and VIPs (very important people).
Flashing red lights denote danger or emergency. Stop signs and stop lights are red to get the drivers' attention and alert them to the dangers of the intersection.
In some cultures, red denotes purity, joy, and celebration. Red is the color of happiness and prosperity in China and may be used to attract good luck.
