Back home from the travel, a bit long this time, three different time zones; two countries; winter and summer alternative; mountains and lakes; bears and deers; out of civilizations and modern conference; what else? ...... I could stay lost in this moment forever...
For Macro Monday's "New" theme.
The front lawn here has been overrun by these tiny little native violets for near 10 years now. About twice a year I mow them, sadly, which I did recently. Quite fitting that at the start of a new year, a few of the violets having start to grow back - new life. This little fellow was about 5mm across. The meek shall inherit the lawn?
Happy new week out there, hope the post Christmas/New Year hangovers have all dissipated.

Currently we are facing Covid-19 Global Pandemic. Don't I usually take detailed naturalistic photos but sometimes it happened to me and I had a lot of difficulty !!
The gesture of this small insect is perhaps the most important for the whole ecosystem and must be safeguarded. We are not masters of the world but we are passing through and we must live respecting everything around us.
The photo is not as detailed as the ones I see. I used a Nikon 18-105 (I think we needed a Macro lens) and it did an acceptable job for me, a bit of color and contrast (if I remember correctly) in cameraraw and nothing more.
