Walk barefoot in the grass. Challenge yourself. Take time to pet the cat. Anticipate. Cheer more loudly than anyone around you. Drink your coffee black. Forgive and forget. Always bring a jacket. Do a little everyday and accomplish big things. Lighten up. Be yourself. Dance both in the rain and in the sunshine. Find something to look forward to. Live in a place of growth. Swing higher than you ever have before. Smile at the cashier. Choose to be happy. Play in the mud. Sleep until the sunshine wakes you up. Allow the waves to knock you down every now and then. Bake some cookies. Create memories. Snuggle under the covers. Live in the moment, but live for the future. Revel in the beauty of the stars. Pray. Use more sugar than you think you need. Break your bad habits. Love everyone and everything with all you've got.

Two friends on a walk across the 2.8km long Hornibrook Bridge in Redcliff, Australia. Once home to cars, this ageing bridge is now limited to pedestrian traffic. The shot was taken with a 400mm lens on a 1.6 crop camera body, making for an actual focal length of 640mm. This focal length is great for compressing perspective and creating a unique point of view.

Today, most people do not see, what future awaits us. That is why we are afraid.

Number III found something important ♥

We did a trial run for shooing in the Boise River in Star; Cassie was one of the willing victims. Good choice. We had a great day for shooting and the water was actually very nice once you got over the initial shock. Good shoot and Cassie is such a blast to shoot with. I spent my time trying out a new (very old) lens and also some new editing techniques for variety. I do like the different looks.

I took these photos in the Boise River in Star, Idaho in June 2020.

I photographed this still-life myself. I used a tripod. Peace! It's so much better than war!

They're watching tv :) I love how he always clings on, like a little monkey. Now I have a picture to save that memory!

And... I used a flash! So that makes this shot surpass the 'snapshot' category ;)

I would love it if you 'liked' my Facebook Page
