Two friends on a walk across the 2.8km long Hornibrook Bridge in Redcliff, Australia. Once home to cars, this ageing bridge is now limited to pedestrian traffic. The shot was taken with a 400mm lens on a 1.6 crop camera body, making for an actual focal length of 640mm. This focal length is great for compressing perspective and creating a unique point of view.
Walk barefoot in the grass. Challenge yourself. Take time to pet the cat. Anticipate. Cheer more loudly than anyone around you. Drink your coffee black. Forgive and forget. Always bring a jacket. Break your bad habits. Love everyone and everything with all you've got.
The abandoned Coast Guard facility that would house rescue equipment, sits next to the abandoned rail leads to the Elberta, MI carferry ramp. Lake Michigan carferrys were once a thriving and interesting part of railroading.This dock was for the Ann Arbor Railroad. Last used in 1982,the dock is shown here in 1989.The main part of this building was built in 1887. Amazingly,the building was saved, the land around here was turned into a park, and this building is now used for wedding receptions.

The Tree of Life is a sculpted 14-story (145-foot tall), 50-foot wide tree, is the centerpiece and icon in Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park since it opened on April 22, 1998.
Paths known as Discovery Island Trails weave around and through this homage to nature. About 325 carved animals make up the surface of the tree and its trunk, with the Discovery Island Trails allowing guests the opportunity to explore and see them all as well as numerous animal exhibits scattered around the roots.
A theater is housed in the Tree of Life root system where the It's Tough to be a Bug! show is performed. This 8-minute, 3D movie and multimedia show features Flik, everybody's favorite ant, and his grasshopper friend, Hopper, from the Disney Pixar film A Bug's Life—along with a supporting cast of insects and arachnids who provide a surprising look into the animal kingdom.
