T007 heads out of Madison, passing under the Monona Terrace building on an outstanding Wisconsin autumn day.

Never expected to be flickr MIA so long! Attempting to refocus now! Excuses, excuses, so many I could give you! ;-) Will be gliding slowly through your streams this week. Looking forward to catching up with all the beauty and creativity that I have missed!
Taken for 'Saturday Self Challenge': "three, in black and white"
Level three of the local shopping centre car park.
There was still snow on the North side of Cissbury ring when I took this shot back in January. You can see the levels that encircle this ancient Hill fort built around 400 BC.
The tree that stands out on the top is at least for me a summer evening spot from which to shoot a sunset. The view from the North Western end out over beautiful farmland is most lovely as the sun sets and shows the contours of the landscape. It`s a bit of a climb up from the field at the bottom that is if you are lucky enough to find a space in the very small parking area, if there are no spaces then just go to plan B as there is no space for roadside parking, A shot of sunset from the top in the comment box below.
As long as the world is turning and spinning, we're gonna be dizzy and we're gonna make mistakes.

Stunning architecture at the outside, and even more at the inside.

19/05/2016; For once I can say I have been shooting at a high level, without sounding like an arse... ;)
But seriously, it is awesome to have 4 bridges, all in completely different styles, within 1 kilometer of each other. So you will see more photos of these bridges in (some of) the next photos I will upload of Newcastle.
Fun fact; while I was standing here shooting this photo, Frans Sellies was about a quarter mile away, without me knowing. :D

This is an example of the type of post-processing I sometimes do... I drop brightness and exposure way down which compacts the tonal resolution artificially, and then adjust light levels accordingly. This reduction of the number of tones in the image can produce nice drama in scenes with light/dark contrasts. At the extreme, you could have a monotone (pure black and pure white); the image above probably contains about 10 or 15 tones. (Note: In the original post I called this "Low Dynamic Range"; I believe "Low Tonal Resolution" is more accurate.) (Explore)

*[Funny Story: I found out many cruises ago, when you go to bed, wrap your camera gear in towels and put it in a closet or drawer (in an 'airconditioned' cabin), otherwise, when you leave and encounter that very humid sea air...YOUR LENSES FOG UP!! I forgot to do that on this morning and was devastated when I couldn't clear them no matter what I did!! (Didn't want to miss this!!) Finally, I was able to salvage a few shots...but you can see they're still a touch foggy.]

Don't believe what your eyes are telling you. All they show is limitation. Look with your understanding, find out what you already know, and you'll see the way to fly.
-Richard Bach
On days like this, oh how I wish to be flying in the clouds. Maybe going for a short trip, having lunch with a friend and flying home. Daydreamin.
