Listen to the top ten songs right now. Every song uses an instrument called a MIDI Keyboard. Today’s music requires knowledge of the piano keyboard. We diligently study today’s current and popular music and teach those concepts in a live 1 on 1 lesson. We develop you as a musician. We believe you have something unique and special to offer the world. Let us show you what these concepts mean and let you hear what these concepts sound like. If you are like the hundreds of music students we’ve taught over the years, you will immediately recognize it as the type of music you like. Call us at (619) 216-0909 to schedule your lesson.
Dear JV,
Sincere is the lesson that’s taken to heart.
Hear the old men when they tell you “don’t wait”.
The work done from now until then is key.
The success of your season, defining your legacy.
Today is your best opportunity to start.
Don’t let time go by, tomorrow’s too late.
When last in your pads, you are covered in sweat.
Lesson learned and passed on, not an ounce of regret.
With all sincerity,
The Graduating Seniors
Student:
I am focusing on the breath but I don't feel very successful.
Teacher:
We will meet in the shade of a Central Park elm. This will be asitting meditation. The open skies of Sheep Meadow will be our churchand the fresh cut lawn our pew. We will extend our legs and we willtouch our toes. Our awareness will be focused on the breath. Can ourfingers feel the soft skin of our feet? If yes, we are beautiful. Ifno, we are beautiful. We are not focused on the result. We simply embrace our effort and return to the breath on a blue sky Sunday in the park.
Logan is taking swimming lessons. He's a Tiny Tot, and here he is in
his second day. Really, he should be a Water Baby, because he's only
2 1/2 and Tiny Tots start at 3 years old. But goodness knows he's as
big as all the Tiny Tots, so it's all good.
He's doing wonderfully! He tries to follow instructions. But as you
can see in this photo, none of the kids has much of an attention
span. Logan loves kicking, floating and blowing bubbles. And we're
working on him not climbing out of the pool to run over and get me to
join him in the water: "Mama! Mama! Mama! Mama!" This is he first
class without me right there with him, and I do appreciate that he
wants me to share in the fun!
So, two weeks from now, he'll be ready for the deep end!
Tags I made using the stamps from lessons 1 & 2. I used watercolors to splatter and dribble on the tags, before stamping.
don't all come from the classroom. This was at the 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition on Treasure Island in San Francisco, and when it warms up those heavy coats come off to reveal a scantily clad figure to entice the men in the crowd to enter.
"Okay, you stay over in the brown grass and I'll stand here in the snow..."
On an decommissioned army depot near us, there's a herd of white white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus). They're not albino, but rather an uncommon mutation that makes them white. The county wants to develop the land, but a group of local citizens (Seneca White Deer, Inc.) has started a campaign to save the deer and turn the area into a conservation park. There are also some normal colored deer, and you can see one of each in this photo.
The Depot is closed to the public, but it's not unusual to see the white deer through the chain-link fence. We pulled over and shot a few photos through the fence Saturday on our way to a party in Trumansburg.
bracket stamp - I'll probably add something more to this tag, but for right now, I love looking at it.

Two of my girls, on our last day together. There is something to be said for waving good-bye from the seashore.
