My daughter and I started horseback riding lessons today. It was 25 degrees, but soooo worth it. We are in love.
A portrait of the extremely talented Ben Folds, performing at the O2 Academy in Glasgow last night with the reunited Ben Folds Five.
The lighting was rather problematic...very dark...had to ramp up the ISO...and generally low contrast...although this shot is fairly nice.
It's the third time I've seen Ben Folds...and he is one of the breed of performers who is great on CD...and even better as a live act.

In the picture on the left, we learn that it's not a good idea to freeze your head inside a block of ice when you're yelling.
In the picture on the right, we learn that it's also not wise to freeze your wiener dog's head in a block of ice.
I was lucky enough to have watched this pair for 2, 3 minutes during which time the young one followed every move of the parent. A breath taking show!
It's always frustrating to wonder how an organ sounds in churches we visit. Suddenly, someone was having a lesson!

Note that I had to walk closer to the view to take this photo, so the view is not exactly the same as it was at the picnic table where I made my drawing. There is an extra tree trunk in this view that was hid from where I sat.
