This is no where near what Pam was expecting I'm sure. I love doing teeth. Yes, Supergirl was a childhood hero!

I drew this free handed from real life objects. It took me about an hour and a half. Sorry the picture quality isn't that great, I'm having problems with my printer's scanner. Hopefully you will be able to see it though!

Painted from the Watercolor Lesson A Day Calender. Many neat ideas in that calender. Sorry the photo is so poor. This was a Valentines gift for my mom. I realized the night before I was going to give it to her that I hadn't taken a photo yet. So the light was not optimal for getting a good shot of the painting.

I was away for a few days but here is my lessons learned prompt

I'll call this finished for now. I am thinking it is too easy to keep "piddling" with this one. This was a great learning experience. I think I actually felt something CLICK while I was painting one day! Thanks, Nel!

My desk - showing grid, set up lines and inked lines. Found it tricky to use the grid to assist with the setup - prefer to use measured set up and object relationships for spacing. The grid did help with proportions for the sewing box.

I'm using visuals to keep on with my French lessons

(My new year's resolution for 2012 is to learn French! I want to document my progress to see how terrible I started out and see if I improved by the end of the year. I will be posting once a week my videos)

My Eldest wanted driving Lessons, so i started the ball rolling with some time in the B&Q carpark on the Isle Of Wight where she lives. And she didn't do so bad!

It left her with a grin like a cheshire cat for quite a while after.lol

Horseback Riding Lesson #5 (on Dee)

Daphny talks with the students about managing peer relationships and bullying.

is what i really should be doing right now. instead, just home from the gym and basking in my own fresh-showered goodness, i have half an ear out for the phone while i dork around on the internet.

i am waiting to see if the wellness world can live without me and i can go play. today is the first day in a while that i haven't felt completely awful and it might be nice to do something other than work and recover from work. something like ride my bike or go to hot yoga, take the macmobile up a mountain to see if there is any snow lying around for snowshoeing in , paint or go take pictures of funky buildings in south tucson...

i love my life but i would like to steal an afternoon- just for the day. i'll bring it back tonight.

thanks!

Jack's weekend "How To Fly Course" taught many different techniques.

Keith and David fire big old automatic weapons.

During my second year of nursing school our professor gave us a quiz. I breezed through the questions until I read the last one: "What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?" Surely this was a joke. I had seen the cleaning woman several times, but how would I know her name? I handed in my paper, leaving the last question blank. Before the class ended, one student asked if the last question would count toward our grade. "Absolutely," the professor said. "In your careers, you will meet many people. All are significant. They deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say hello." I've never forgotten that lesson. I also learned her name was Dorothy. ~Joann C. Jones

Many residents eagerly joined the dance troupe for lessons. The smiles on all of their faces says it all.
