I've been forcefully reminded a few times lately that life is often shorter than we might wish or expect. Make every day count!
This one is for Derrick. RIP mate, and thanks for teaching me so much.
First lesson, made these prints on card as I had it handy. They have become very textured but not unpleasant. Of course I forgot to leave any white spaces for tomorrow's lesson, ah well, if needs be, will do some on watercolour paper.
Our 2013 schedule. Orange subjects done every week. Yellow subjects are done the 1st full week of the month, blue subjects are done week 2 of the month, purple are done week 3 of each month and pink subjects are done on those not full weeks of the month. White lessons they do together, light blue lessons are for my Kindergarten son and light blue lessons are for m y 3rd grade son.

Christmas tree in local museum, used w/c pencil then paint, love the intense colors with this technique.
