a life perfect aint perfect
if you don't know what the struggles for
falling down aint falling down
if you don't cry when you hit the floor
it's called the past 'cause im getting past
and i'm nothing like i was before
you ought to see me now

the first session I have done with my little Grace since she 'accidently" chopped off her hair..yes..you heard right! lol She got a round brush tangled in the side and her independant 6 yr old problem solving was to simply "cut it out" and no one would be the wiser! eek! soooo....pixie cut it was..there were tears..mostly mine, but we both have learned a very valuable lesson...to look beyond the outside and to the inside, she is beautiful no matter what...and meanwhile..it grows...
From a pair of glass lamps I made with love that took about 100 hours each to complete. Never again!
Patty Grover(sp?) of Fairfax was a professional ice skater for many years, and was giving free lessons from the side of the rink today. The kids loved it!
I keep changing my kit a bit so this is a drawing I did in August of the kit plus recent additions plus a Pentel Brush pen that I haven't used yet (as you can see). Yes I am a kit junky.

I was giving someone basic photography lessons, and at one point I was talking about how I never ask children to smile for pictures. If they smile, cool, but if they aren't smiling, the picture can still be beautiful. Then we glanced over to see our kids interacting, having a sweet moment together in the pretty light from the window.
