Gravity does the work at the Water Steps at North Shore Riverfront Park. From a pool in front of Hyde Park steak house on North Shore Drive, just west of PNC Park, the water descends over broad steps of sandstone blocks toward the Ohio River.
Each level provides a restful yet refreshing blend of cool water and warm sun, where you can sit in the stream and take in a spectacular view of Downtown. Straight ahead is the river, on which ducks may be seen enjoying the sight of humans in water.
The steps’ steady yet gentle flow of water fits the idyllic family-friendly environment.

Known to many in the trade as "SNAKE" Mark has made his own stamp on the world of tattoo with his famous freehand "custom sketch on skin" style, daring and progressive!
Mark has found his own way into the industry in less than a year (completing apprenticeship in less than a summer).
Straight in at the deep end SNAKE's first real live ink was a tattoo around a customers ankle, a freehand cover up over some Indian Ink, a very small Boa Constrictor tattoo which soon got a lot of attention!
Ever since that first tattoo SNAKE has chosen to stick to his risky formula of freehand which soon won him a place in the international tattoo calendar (Landmarks of tattoo) being the only tattooist representing the UK, then weeks later to be featured front page in an international magazine (Tattoo You)... Since then his work has been seen in international publications, the internet and even on the skin of celebrities, Sports stars, Film stars, even Rock stars :)

Less than 30 years after the building of the secretive St Patrick's church came the swagger of catholic pride in the construction of a cathedral. The architect was James Roberts who had earlier designed the Anglican Cathedral. This opened in 1793, was extended by the chancel bay in 1829 and completed with the west front 1893-7. I had been here in 1976 and like then I was impressed today. The vast expanse of white groined ceilings is a prime candidate for frescoes or mosaic. The colour comes from glass by Mayer & Co of Munich
