For me this is the less attractive of the two harbours in Dalkey but that is not to say that it is not attractive and to be honest I would very much like to live in the area.
Bullock Harbour or Bulloch Harbour is a small working harbour located near the heritage town of Dalkey on the southeast coast of Dublin Bay in Ireland.
The current harbour quay and walls were constructed of local granite in the early 19th century where previously a rocky inlet had provided a natural harbour.
There is also a castle which is oblong with a tower at each end, and the archway under the western tower was probably used to pass from one court to another within the boundary walls of the castle. Inside the main door and inner porch is a large barrel-vaulted room originally used for the storage of grain, fish and other goods. A spiral staircase ascends to a series of rooms. On the way up a room on the left may be examined for its sturdy roof construction. I am not sure id the public can access the building [I know, I should have checked].
Bartra Property, despite ongoing protests from various interested parties , has this received permission to build housing units at Bulloch Harbour in Dalkey. It will consist of three three-storey houses, two apartments and a cafe as well as other buildings.
Local People Before Profit TD Richard Boyd Barrett said the decision was “incomprehensible”. “Bulloch Harbour is a unique public amenity used by people of all ages. It is an important part of the heritage of south County Dublin, ” he said.

Usually it deflates as the bird bows down then expands with the upward bow. I love the extended pinnae in this shot.

Took off the "SUZUKI" stickers since they don't pay me for advertising and also removed some graphics from the rear fairing. Looks much cleaner.

The idea of doing this came about completely by accident when I was setting up for a shot and accidentally hit the shutter button. I love how striking the simplicity is, and the slight blue hint at the bottom of the glass, it's almost like I've contained an ocean in a glass. I'm sure with the joys of photoshop you could make it look like that even more so. (SOOC)

My German friend took us to a less touristy bar, which was filled with the pottery jugs used to serve Apfelwein. The season has just started, so I was able to get 'Apfelmost' - apparently, the early pressing, before it has time to turn alcoholic. Mmmm!
She told me a cute story that her parents had a cask in their garage, and the kids were allowed to take some while is was 'apfelmost', but there'd come a day when it was fermented to 'apfelwein' when they had to stop and let the grown ups in instead!

I'm convinced this was &will be the only decent show to play in Daytona while I live here.
No photo pass, just worked my magic to get as close to the stage as possible. Eventually, I got to the barricades, but not until Reel Big Fish.
I have to say, for a Daytona show, this was perfect. Both bands I've been wanting to see for the past couple years, but I've never been able to because one reason or another. It was pretty sweet. If only I had a photo pass...
Downtown Victoria, BC, is a magnet for cycling traffic. A recent count project pegged demand in probably less than one square kilometre of mostly commercial, office and retail uses nearing 1300 bikes locked up in the public realm alone, not accounting for the many hundreds more who park their bikes out of sight (and out of the weather), in work places or parkades.
About 25% of those bikes parked used "informal" options (anything but a bike rack), where better choices were absent or full. The city is slowly adding racks to fill in the gaps and taking advantage of other development or streetscaping projects to find new locations for additional racks.
Functional and aesthetic bike parking is not just a "nice to do" project, but is essential to help downtown business diversify their markets by attracting people who choose cycling for transportation. For pedestrians and other sidewalk users (particularly those with sight impairments or using mobility aids), providing more bike parking is essential to eliminating safety hazards that are created when cyclists are obliged to use less satisfactory hardware. A little less frilly than her last outfit but nice. I combined the simple dress set with some striped knee highs from another dolls outfit (they suit her better I think) and a pair of JID male 'rigger' boots.
Asa is more of a Doc Martins than high heel type of girl, although she does own a least one pair.
