Haneda Airport, Tokyo, Japan

First attempt with my shitty improvised Lenscap pinhole. (Pinhole Lenscap? Lenshole pincap? Waaah...) Discovered that the 30sec max. timed exposure is pretty much useless, a remotecord is next on the ebay list....

Charleston Photowalk 2010

With a little help from the lady at the Art Emporium, Clayton did a group photo at the beginning of the Charleston Photowalk.

Well actually, my cousin found it back at her house in California. Finally, after a year, I got my lens cap back! :D

Plus extension tubes

Deacon finds my lens cap and starts to chew on it.

In the parking lot there are two Ox Wagons - preferred transport in the 1880's. For the Red, DOF and Texture tasks.

A LensCap Rally at the Voortrekker Monument in Pretoria. The LensCap Rally is a day out with a Professional Photographer. There are set tasks and afterwards you can upload your photos to the site and have everyone comment on them. Its a great way to get out for the day, shoot loads of pics at interesting locations and meet other photo-mad people.

while her faithful assistant holds her lenscap.

this boat was well fun. except for the time that a MASSIVE and especially creepy grey spider crawled across the sweater on the seat right next to me. i freaked. crusty's mum nonchalantly shook it into the river. i felt silly.

The first click had to be the lens cap, eh? ..Haha

Its a holder that makes it easy to attach the lens cap to the camera strap.

Little experiment with 60mm macro and Nikon TC-14E teleconverter giving your lens a 84mm effect.

Still takes sharp pictures and brings the subject closer from further away. Autofocus is intact. Ideal for underwater photographers, who can't afford a true 105mm macro lens..

Tokina lens cap taken perpendicular with 84mm macro setup. Look at large size to see plastic molding.

A grabshot as I was crossing the street. Would have missed it if I didn't already have the lenscap off.

Shot freehand with Kenko 20mm extension tube + Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM.

And a lens cap. We tried hard to get a good group photo.

Pinhole. Shot with a crudely made lenscap pinhole. The hole wasn't entirely central, nor was it small enough, but i like this for a first attempt. Those black things are dust spots. Apparently my sensor needs a good cleaning.

Experimenting with a pinhole attachment on my digital SLR.

I bought a Canon Powershot Sx40 Bridge camera from Ebay for £100 including postage.

I wanted something that I could carry with me on my dog walks that could shoot both macro and zoom. This is a very old camera but a bit of a bargain.

It came with three batteries, two filters and a bag. The bag alone is £30 new, so it really was a proper bargain.

I've only just taken a few hundred shots with it. It's just as I expected, has good range and is "OK to Very Good" in good daylight. Awful at night and high ISO.

I'll reserve verdict on how much I use it after a month. For now it's fun to play with something different. My first bridge camera

and to think I was worried about traveling with my camera.

Me gustaría hacer una foto con millones de estas tapas. xD
