Learning to read, write and live with your mistakes: see that post-it note? there is a BAD mistake under it, see that head sticking out of the square? See that HAND... oh well - it was fun nonetheless :) Wait till I scan pages with more kids in the library!

236/365 - new toy we bought to give away at Christmas.

So I'm learning about using my husband's camera. Today's daily shoot challenge was to use long exposure. I was trying something during the day, but it didn't turn out right. Hubs said it was still too bright although it was a grey day. So we tried after a long day of helping my parents in NJ. We came home as Saints were about to make history of going to Super Bowl. I thought today might be the first day I miss taking a daily shot. But my sweet and thoughtful husband, who was dog tired, asked me if I'd like to give my daily shoot challenge another try. I sheepishly gave him a hug and talked about what composition we'd like to make. We set the exposure to 30 seconds and used a flashlight. We had a lot of fun taking various pictures. This is my favorite of the 6 shots. As you can see my husband is very creative. He started making a consistent heart shape. Voila! Neon, flashlight heart for me.

And the Saints won.
