You can see that the spiral staircase offers a bit of a tight squeeze, but that also means you will be nice and secure when transiting in a seaway. Over my head is a pulldown panel for the optional flatscreen TV. To my right is a small refrigerator/icemaker.

Editorial Layout designed for Visual Presentation.
I used one-word heading as I want to maintain its simpleness. The some pictures were taken by me and I balanced the pictures used so that it would not look too out of place. Different shades of green were used for the texts and background so that it would relate to the topic. I played with the positioning of the texts and pictures.

Este é para um amigo de faculdade, fiz o logotipo para ele e também um layout para um hotsite onde seria mostrado alguns trabalhos feitos ao longo do semestre.
I designed this CD layout around a band I made up called OMNI. I used photos I took this winter of my old treehouse, introduced a bit of red to emphasize a focal point.
I take no credit (or tie them in any way to this project) for the photos of the band members which were found on google images.
I needed some hobby supplies and headed downtown to Hobbyland, aka, "the fun store with the red door". Right as I entered, I was welcomed by the friendly man behind the counter who directed me to the supplies I needed. I found everything I was looking for then headed to the checkout. I paid for my stuff and got to talking to Jerry who owns the store. I was admiring his train layout and asked him if I could take a few shots of it and he said, "Sure, people do it all the time." He told me he works on it in his spare time and on Sundays when the store is closed. He has logged over 1650 hours to the task and might I say it is AWESOME! if you find yourself in Bloomington, Illinois and you like model railroads and dioramas, this is a must see. The details were incredible and I ended up watching the trains go 'round for a good 20 minutes. The store was pretty busy at the time but in between customer checkouts, I told Jerry about the 100 strangers project and asked if he would pose for me with the layout and become part of my project. He said sure.
Thanks Jerry for taking a few moments in your busy morning to entertain me and my camera. I'll be seeing you again soon as my supplies are already getting low ;-)

As you'll see from these images, I still have a lot of trouble sizing eyes and aligning them. Likewise, from simple shapes, are larger shapes built and full faces created. But errors in the sketch are magnified in the drawing, as Brunelleschi might have said — when I start with junky rough-outs, I get a poorly composed face.
A more seasoned artist might say, "why'd you build the whole face out if you knew it was starting in the wrong way?" I draw on my friend Daniel's experience though. He said, "when you're prototyping... build the whole prototype. See what other errors you make along the way to the finished product.
I take from this image sequence that I started with a roughed-out egg that was the wrong proportions, height to width; and that my eye line was not level; and that I didn't position my eyes correctly on it; nor made them the same size.
I'll correct these things with much practice, but I'm beginning to sense the underlying proportions — even if I don't quite get them right by instinct yet.
