Layers is a photoshopping competition organised by the Photography Club, BITS Pilani.

This was my entry for Layers and finished 3rd. The next pic is original image that had to be edited using photoshop or any other software.

P.S the original pic was provided by the Photog Club and not clicked by me.

 

HDR's are usually controversial with opinions divided on the amount of tone-mapping and the reality preserved in the image. Personally, I like them to be overly dramatic and love the feel that gives. To each man his own.

Uhh yeah this is for my Fine Art project which was about layers and stuff.

layers.....bun bottom, butter, sweet relish, ketchup, purple onion, lean / med ground beef patty ( w/ secret spices ), Canadian cheddar, ham slice, fried mushrooms w/ garlic & thyme, thick sliced harvest bacon, tomato slices, iceberg lettuce, Old Dutch regular chips, garlic, horseradish dijon mayonaisse, bun top, and garlic dill pickle !!

This was supposed to be for the county fair's bake-off, but I missed the deadline to get it to the judges' table. Good thing too, since my layers were VERY uneven. :( But it tasted good anyway. I layered the cake with pineapple mousse and frosted it with white chocolate cream cheese frosting.

A very large pile of snow melting near Firehole Falls in Yellowstone National Park. As it melts the different layers of the snow are revealed. I did a little colorization so that the dirt and such was grey and the rest was varying shades of blue.

Buildings from various time periods blend. I believe the columns in the center of the photo must have been integrated structurally into a later building.
