A look I like. The dress can be worn on its own, although it's a bit on the short side, but I like the layered look I achieve when I wear it over a skirt that is a little longer.

This is my first submission to the Iron Forge competition. It uses the minifigure helmet as a seed part and it was used 3 times in this build.
Layers for me always makes me think of Photoshop, each layer has its own charm and colour, it’s a great theme, as there are endless things to choose from, as evident from the amazing images in the group...
As we lay drying after a swim I noticed the unplanned design of layers of different colours and textures, reminding me of rock strata - so I took the pic without changing anything (Shell Bay, Dorset, UK).
Shell Bay on the south side of Poole Harbour is a beautiful beach on the Purbeck nature reserve. The headland is quite a walk from the Sandbanks Ferry to the north and Studland Village to the west and has for years been a popular (but still unofficial*) clothes-optional area.

A fresh layer of snow dusts the limbs of a tree in Woodlawn Park.
Over the past few days, Portland has gotten it's first real snowfall of the year. With winter conditions always come a bit of excitement and also nervousness as the city itself doesn't deal with snow/ice real well.
This was taken during last years big snow storm. I missed nearly a week of work because of the road conditions, but we still took advantage with some nice walks around the neighborhood.

Without sea stacks or even coastal rocks to fill the foreground, it was time to go scouting. Lines in the sand left after a rainy day reminded me of layer cake at Heceta Beach, Oregon
