Another Hand Held Twilight shot from my last trip to Oregon. It’s a simple composition of just layering the different elements. I was thinking graphic when I shot this image.

Played with my discount flowers and the light box today after watching a youTube video by Harold Davis. If you haven't seen his work you should www.digitalfieldguide.com/faqs/faq-photographing-flowers-.... I need to become more adept at Photoshop so I can learn how to add the layers one at a time instead of just merging to HDR. This is it for today and I am intrigued to do some more work with flowers and the light box. I don't understand how anyone can get bored, there is so much to learn and experiment with every day! It's not perfect but this is how we grow and learn, baby stepping.

And that's just what it was, layer upon layer of incredible beauty as far as one could see, even in less than ideal lighting. I've learned very quickly over the years that when we're away on one of our adventures, we are literally at Mother Nature's mercy, so I take what can get while I'm there :-) This one was photographed along the Glenn Highway....views of the Chugach Mountain Range along the Matanuska Valley.

Hope everyone's enjoying their weekend; we were out and about all day, so I'll catch up with everyone soon. Thanks for all your visits and comments; always appreciated!!!!
